Regionals venue

The Woodlands, Texas 77384

Details coming, stay tuned.

Directions:

Very simple. Which ever way you're coming from, you must get on I-45.

Coming from Houston: Exit 79 (College Park / Tx 242). Turn left at light, go to the 3rd light (Honor Roll Drive), turn left into school parking lot.

Coming from Dallas: Exit 79 (College Park / Tx 242). Turn right, go to the 3rd light (Honor Roll Drive), turn left into school parking lot.

Parking is available in the front and both sides.

Host Hotel:

Baymont Inn & Suites
1506 I-45 South
Conroe, Texas 77304
Phone: 936-539-5100

Our price is $71.10 (tax included) per night (Friday and/or Saturday night).
Mention group name: POKEMON
The group rate is valid until April 9th. If you book after that, expect to pay more (if there is availability).

Breakfast is included.
Two double beds or 1 king size bed, interior doors, microwave and mini fridge, etc. (The rooms in our block are non-smoking but if you want smoking, just let them know when you book).

If you encounter any problems with booking, ask for Valerie or Paula.

** Baymont Inn & Suites is easy to get to, and it's only 6.2 miles to/from the tournament. It is a very convenient drive between the hotel and the venue. It is nearly impossible to get group rates at The Woodlands hotels.

There are a lot of other hotels in the area and the prices are a lot higher, especially once you get closer to The Woodlands. If you are interested in a different hotel, pm me and I can help you.

Hotel Directions:

Either way on I-45, exit Gladstell Road exit #85 (Conroe) Baymont Hotel is on the west side of the highway, so if you're coming from the the south, you'll have to exit and do a u-turn on the overpass. There's an I-Hop restaurant in the same parking lot as the hotel. You can't miss it.

More info coming soon..... Check here!

Hey Mike, I just reserved our room and you can only get 2 full size beds NOT 2 queens or the king for that price. Just wanted to clear that up since I usually get a KING for myself, you know. I can't wait for this since I will be giving up my time to party in San Antonio during FIESTA WEEK. That saturday Is the annual St. Mary's Oyster Bake. This will be the first time I've missed this event in 10 years. I guess I'm saving money by not buying a 16 bottle of beer for $3.50.

My mistake on the queen beds, it's 2 full size beds (or as hotels refer to them: 2 doubles) and the first post has been corrected.

There must have been some miscommunication, though. The king size bed IS available at 71.10, I just confirmed with Paula. If you need to change yours, just call them.

Yaay , now we know exactly where it is. The venue looks abolutly beautiful Mike, GJ!

Btw , if you tell me we are playing in Desks - yeah.. just dont do it lol

Wait till you see the inside, we have room for 600 people. This school just opened up last year and the kids really like it, so they take care of it.

I'll have a desk set up just for you, lol.

It was just the double bed that was in question. You do have the option for the king but I think the kids would be upset if I made sleep on the floor.

sigh.....thanks for the heads up, Jose. I didn't know hotels even had full size beds anymore.
Always a catch for the good price.
Hey did you sat 16 beers for $3.50? I'm gonna go get me some of that!

Rocketman my brother means $3.50 each. That comes to $56. He only wishes he could get 16 beers for $3.50.

Man, what a wonderous location... =/

Whicker, we have a special desk just for you -- in the detention hall.

Just kidding!

No seriouly, it's a BEAUTIFUL place.... and it's closer to Oklahoma than the Space Center.

So,come on down!!!

How much closer? 10 minutes? 20 minutes? 30..?

Seriously, there is no way I'm going and I doubt many of the other Oklahomans will be able to go as well, unless you're telling me that the venue is approximately 3 hours closer to Oklahoma than the Space Center.

This location is terrible for Oklahoma and you know it, Mike. With the logic that Whicker supplied last year and you still cannot move it back? There is no reason to have it in Houston and you know it because you've been unable to supply any logical counter-argument to any of the points that he has made.
