Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Who got Invites!?!?!?

The Japanese players wil get there invites because I heard that PUI has given the invites to the top 8 people in each age group in only in Japan and this should be true and this is also said at TCG Discussion under the topic of the official list for whoever will get invites. Hope that helps you a lot.

Why does that "bite"? You still got the invite, you'll just be playing in 15+...

My youngest son got one and I did, so we don't have to play the grinder.
All the other Dutch players are not going as far as I know.

Same here, I turn 15 on August 13th. What's your birthday Steven? I've been wondering if I will be the youngest in the 15+.

Unless they change the guidelines. ;) It actually would make more sense to have people play in the division they qualify for so that the 3 age groups would have the same number playing IMHO.

@Pidgeotto Trainer:
A really, really, really good idea. Why should players be punished for being born one or two weeks to early, when they have qualified in the younger group? I really like the idea that players are in the age group in which they won their invitation.

Glumanda, Pidgeotto, etc, this is not a punishment. The individuals are merely being forced to move up to their correct age group.

Many 11-14 players who are moving up to 15+ this tournament season have performed well. Just because you're in the 15+ doesn't mean you are going to bomb. You just need to know that we play differently from you, and have an entirely different metagame.

Oh I know. I actually somewhat look forward to the challenge. I was just saying that it made more sense to me to have the players play in the division they qualified in. It sounded like PUI had a master plan for x-number of players in each division. That is why they replace invite for invite with the Grinder. How will this impact how many people get in with the grinder? Some 11-14 and 10- invites have 'moved' and 11-14 & 15+ get more added. It just seems like my idea made more sense from this POV. I won't mind playing in the 15+, I'm just showing my case. :)
