Who is going to use the invite for Worlds and who is playing LCQ (Masters division)

from what I can tell the Saturday morning ratings run completed but the Sunday morning run failed. It takes three hours for all the data to be processed. (You can watch ratings change ) I don't know what broke the ratings for Sunday so don't know if todays (Monday) run will also fail.


Its running as I write this... 10,000 players worldwide and counting

Still searching for a payable trip but I can't find anything below 1300 €. =/

You can refuse Nationals invites to pass them down? Good to hear. xD
That means, anyone who already got rating invite could have refused them to give out more invites?

No. I was told that if you give up a national invite you also lose the rating invite. A high rated player who gives up their nationals invite will still consume one of the 50 slots as the decision to pass down the nationals invite is equivalent to declaring yourself NOIR. This year NOIRs consume a rating invite.

Anyone who qualified by placing Top Four at the previous years world championship has an invite from worlds, those are separate to the national and ratings invites. Top four at Worlds 2009 can still consume a ratings invite, but not a nationals invite.

Norway: only the seniors is tagged and there are obviously some Players with incorrect dates of birth.

Sweden: anyone know if it is sanctioned on the OP website?

I don't really know what that means, but Swedens nationals is uploaded.
 
do you have a link? I've tried to find the tournament on the Event locator and failed every time. I can find four events in Stockholm for the whole year.
 
Yes looks like we are waiting for Switzerland.
However, after Worlds I can figure out how many Invites were used indeed.
Still I think the no trickle down is not good for players outside NA, due to the costs/distance.

23 players will get a double invite, which leaves 27 for "free" use.
For now 9 players will use one of those 27 invites, but again after Worlds it's more clear.
 
Are you sure it's the last Nationals to be uploaded? UK is done and Norway too? All the points have been calculated without Switzerland?

Cause if it's the case, when Swiss Nats is uploaded i could be 50 but also could be 51 or 52.

And i'm sure to fly there...

Switzerland is uploaded and completed.

Luca is safe afterall in 49th place with 1757.12, with cutoff being 1755.95! :eek:
