Why can't i upload a custom avatar?

Bugsbite/Jan: I know you haven't been here long, but Ryan is a Mod (mini-mod??), not sure his exact status. He was a Cardiologist/Mod for awhile, then they took the Cardiologist portion away. Ryan also had his avi symbol changed back to simply "pokemon professor". I can see why you would not know he is a Mod and an answer had been given. And Ryan could have explained that here too.....he just choose to answer the way he did.

He could have been a bit more friendly. Is that asking too much of a Mod?

I expect another custom Avi day to be around the 1st of the year, or maybe even Valentines day again.

The tone was because he said "why waste time". I'm sorry, but doing the custom avatars the way we do it isn't a waste of time. Saying that AFTER I explained some reasons behind the current practice implies we're stupid or something. That's why I said it the way I did. Then he stated a fact. He said no moderator or administrator posted in the thread. It's not my fault bugsbite can't do a bit of research before he asserts things.

People are constantly taking all of our time and effort for granted, and there's no reason for us to sit idly by while they do it.

LOL i love how you ONLY post in threads if me, ryan (especially), or chad decide to post. and usually, like in this instance, you add nothing to the topic other than criticism of ryan. stop trying to sabatoge ryan every chance you get. he's a mod and i highly doubt that will change, no matter how much you ***** about it.

Although it doesn't really matter to me, I HAVN'T done any research suprise suprise. How are people supposed to know your a mod if the little word "Moderator" isn't right there above your profile and they havn't done research either? Or did you just become a moderator? Maybe its not my place to be asking about that, but please don't anyone jump on me with criticism or anything, this is just an honest inquiry.

I've been one for quite a while now. All you have to do is go to one of the busiest forums here (deck help forum) to see that I'm a moderator.

Also, I never EXPECTED people to research it. It's different when you attempt to state a fact without bothering to do any research. That just makes you look foolish.
 
I always thought that would be a good idea. That and custom titles.

Like, if you win a contest you could have whatever title under your name.
 
I think moderated custom titles in general would be a fun idea... have "custom title days" at about the same frequency as avatar days. The original 'Gym had custom titles for a while before they got bought out and shut down, so my idea has concrete 'Gym precedent.

Of course, the thought of all the heinous Naruto or Dragonball Z or Chuck Norris titles makes me reconsider my position, but the thought of seeing something like "Water Mouse" under my name still amuses me.
