Why so few Kyurem?

Unless you're opening cases, I don't think you can really draw too much of a conclusion about the print run. I saw no difference whatsoever in the pull rates of the holos over the course of the three cases. It wasn't exact, but there was no more than a 2-3 card difference either way.

What I can say, however, it that the reverse foil versions of the holos seem to be in shorter supply in this set than in the previous sets. Out of three cases, I only pulled 4 reverse Kyurem, 5 Hydredewhatever, etc. That ran true for all of the holos. Ont he flip side, I was running about 10-12 reverses of the rares.

And the reason you think they're in short supply? They're really hot. I sold out (around 15) at $14.00 each in less than 24 hours. Never seen a true holo move like that before.
 
Two boxes opened... two normal holo, two reverse. (1 each per box) Pulled another at the prerelease.

The only reason this card is 'under printed' is that every pack does not have a Kyurem, thus driving the price down to pennies and causing every person to have huge amounts available for trade and causing every deck at the upcoming cities to be Kyurem-based. ....So, it's not under printed.
 
I just saved some grief and got 3 Kyurems on ebay for $15 free shipping, slapped them in the deck today.

I noticed its rather hard pulling anything good out of NV packs, and thats the most packs of Pokemon ive opened since 2002, I think a total of about 1/2 a box.

So if I am going to open packs, I will most likely sell whats in them unless its something I could really use.
 
I've had disgusting luck with every online pack and IRL pack I've opened of NV, especially the online packs. Probably around ~80 total. Not a single Kyurem, only 2 FAs. Ugh.
 
2 boxes=
4 Holo Kyurem 2 in each box
2 full art Victini 6 total (fire+psy)
2 Full art Cobalion 4 total- the two full art were in the same pack.
4 Holo Hydreigon
2 Holo Terrakion
1 Holo Verizion
Some other goodies... 84 rares total

and 1, only one Haxorus. Makes me think that Haxorus is harder to come by then the Kyurem.

To me, it is all just Random, as I think this is the best 2 boxes worth of cards I have had in a long time. I look at it like this: it is better then I normally pull at pre-releases!
 
It seems NV packs and boxes are stacked to 1 side.

like 1 box will be amazing with 3-4 FAs, 2 Kyurems, and so on.

the other box will be 1-2 FAs and mostly not so good pulls.

I dont know if Reverse Holos hold more value than regular holos, but in the 18 packs I have opened, only pulled 2 holos, both being Victini, not fliptini either.

Thats 1:9 ratio whereas Reverse holo is always 1:1

I pulled a FA N the only FA I pulled, so thats 1:18 ratio, which is probably one of the more realistic ratios.
 
@Ayamehikaru- yup. No joke. I thought it was pretty shweet, since I never get so lucky with that kind of pull. The box that had that pack only gave up a few other good rares, the second box pulled better then the box with the pack w/ the fa Cobalion.

I have pulled the same rare holo with the non holo before, but this pack shocked even me.

Fun fact: There are 30 uncommon cards in NV, and each pack comes with 3 uncommons. Uncommons do not repeat in a pack, except when it is a reverse holo. The probability of getting 40 or more non-reverse holo Evolites in 3 boxes is 0.000000000005895%.

40 is probably an exaggeration.

I have seen some in the prerelease tournaments where 6 packs would yield the same trainer 3-4 times.

If that tells you anything.

last prerelease I was in I think I pulled out 4 of those fossil trainers (same one, I dont recall the name)

then I know 1 group who pulled 2-3 Ns.

Their ratio and stacking is ridiculous is in this set.

I got x6 Packs of NV today, since I didn't get to go to pre-release :p

I got

2x Kyurem (1 RH)
2x Rockey Helmet (1 RH)
1x Evolite
1x Cofagrigus
2x Durant

I am sooooooooo happy and wish I had gone to pre-release and pulled these packs, I got the last 3 packs of a box at my card store and grabed the last 3 out of a new box

I want some full art N's though :(
