I live in Ohio and I would even say Chicago or Indianapolis would be really good locales. I say Chicago because it is really one of the great cities of the US (My girlfriend says its a very awesome city), and its very central to the US also (It really isn't THAT far from STL.), and Indianapolis because you have to consider, the guys there HAVE to know what they're doing there if they're dealing with the gamer funk of Gencon pretty much every single year (And trust me, the numbers there far surpass Origins.) and it also is a very awesome city (Having been there for Gencon, I can attest to this.)

I have no problems with STL, but it just seemed kinda.. I dunno, lacking compared to some of the big cities I've seen in the US.

I DO love your pizza though. Provol cheese is one of the greatest things ever created.
