See here for complete Black and White set scans.

Can anyone recall a card ever receiving errata before the new version that prompted the change were released?

Not exactly the same thing, but when expedition was released, they errata's all Pokemon Powers to include Burned and Poisoned as shutting them off.

They will make the change, as it's listed in the changes on the Black and White theme deck insert. I see no reason for them to not implement it after already printing it.

Well, I am really saying this in regard to how it will look next format when Machamp SF is out. Reshiram and Zekrom will just plow over crap. BTS will more than likely be gone, so its back to basic pokemon reigning supreme again more than likely...

Because rare candy + machamp sf on turn one before your opponent gets to go equals a free prize. Among other things.

I didn't even run Candy in Speedchamp and 97-98% of games that I wasn't locked I got a T1 Champ (Played at States, Provs, and Regs). If they want to effectively nerf donk decks, they need to hit BTS too (or Uxie).

Yes, it and Great Ball, Defender and Unown (TR-51) have Errata issued on them, even though they are not included in the BW expansion set:

Errata

The following cards now have new official text, some of which is very different from previous versions. When using the following cards, always use this text to determine their effects:

Rare Candy

Choose 1 of your Basic Pokémon in play. If you have a Stage 2 card in your hand that evolves from that Pokémon, put that card on the Basic Pokémon. (This counts as evolving that Pokémon.) You can't use this card during your first turn or on a Basic Pokémon that was put into play this turn.

Changes: It can't be used on your first turn, and it can't be used on a Pokémon played this turn.

Potion

Heal 30 damage from 1 of your Pokémon.

Changes: Heals 30 damage instead of 20 damage.

Great Ball

Look at the top 7 cards of your deck. You may reveal a Pokémon you find there and put it into your hand. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck.

Changes: This card works very differently now, it can no longer search the entire deck for a Pokémon and put it directly onto Bench.

PlusPower

During this turn, your Pokémon's attacks do 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Changes: This card no longer attaches to a Pokémon when used.

Defender (HS—Undaunted, 72/90)

Attach Defender to 1 of your Pokémon. Discard this card at the end of your opponent’s next turn. Any damage done to the Pokémon Defender is attached to by attacks is reduced by 20 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

Defender protects against all attacks, even ones not made by the opponent.

Unown (HS—Triumphant, 51/102)
Poké-Power CURE

Once during your turn, when you put Unown from your hand onto your Bench, you may remove all Special Conditions from your Active Pokémon.

Use of this Poké-Power is optional.

(No need for a huge space taking quote)

I saw that. It's just odd for a card to receive errata when the new card isn't even available. With changes of this degree (example being Rainbow Energy and Rainbow Energy, and they're much more similar than the different Rare Candies) it has always required a reference. I also realize we are allowed to play them without a reference, but it's still quite odd.

:setsTR:Team Rocket
Rainbow Energy 17 Holo Rare Major text change. Requires reference.
Rainbow Energy 80 Rare Major text change. Requires reference.

I love what they did with great ball. Now the new great ball is different from the old great ball which is the same as the old master ball. Why go through the trouble of reprinting the text so drastically? Why not just actually reprint masterball? Or even another ball card we haven't used before.

imo, master ball should of been what great ball was, and vice versa.

maybe we will see a master ball in a future set that can grab a pokemon?

No, everyone has it wrong.

Master Ball should be like Luxury Ball
Luxury Ball should be like Premier Ball
Premier Ball should be like Great Ball
Great Ball should be like Master Ball

There you go The Pokemon Company, lets see those changes. :thumb:

Not to drive this TOO far beyond topic, but Master Ball SHOULD be luxury ball. Ball that lets you get almost any pokemon, but can only be used once? Sounds like master ball to me!
