Side Events and Activities:
MEGA-RAFFLE (Saturday and Sunday this year!): This raffle is becoming a NW tradition at States and Regionals, and once again we have some FANTASTIC items. The BIG news is that we will have TWO raffles on Saturday and ONE for the Video Game players on Sunday. One of the raffles on Saturday will be an exclusive “Masters Only” raffle. You get raffle entries when you register for the TCG or VG tournament!!! This year we’ve made it possible to get more entries than ever before, and they’re all FREE. You get another ticket in each of the first four rounds of the TCG or VG tournament. You get tickets for side event activities and League play. Bring a player that has never played in Regionals before and you both get another entry.

We’ll have the raffle prizes posted soon, so stay tuned!

LEAGUE PLAY (Saturday and Sunday): Come to our League Play area and battle before, after and between rounds of the main tournaments. Best of all you can earn free stuff for those battles, both TCG and VG - THAT'S RIGHT, every one of your battles entitles you to a pick from the card box at the League Headquarters. In the box are hundreds of Pokemon cards from years past, BUT sprinkled throughout the box are some special cards that get you great Pokemon prizes! (games played in the main tournaments do not count)

CREATIVE CENTER (Saturday and Sunday): Express yourself in our Creative Center with drawing, puzzles and other artistic activities. We provide the supplies, you bring the talent and creativity!

LEAGUE CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT (Sunday Only): We have been given permission to hold a League Challenge tournament on Sunday (or two tournaments if attendance warrants). Pay a $5.00 entry fee and take a shot at winning those coveted Championship points as well as some boosters! The prizes will be determined by attendance so bring all your friends to boost that prize pool. As a side benefit of the Masters TCG registration fee you will get a complimentary entry into the League Championship tournament on Sunday – unless of course you are still in the top 8 competing for the championship trophy!

Check the first post for details on the TCG and VG main events as well as side event information. I still need to add tournament prizes and mega-raffle item descriptions. Those will be coming soon!

Just an additonal rule to clarify for the VG tournament, the Pokémon you use must have been bred or captured in Pokémon X or Y (easily checked by seeing if a blue pentagon is present on the stats screen). Hope to see you all there! Event was run great last year!

Just some feedback, but it would be better if maybe the room rate could also cover the Monday for video game players. We don't want to drive the 9 hours or so home after the Regional ends (if it ends at 7PM, grab dinner, then try to get home we would be driving until probably 4AM) so we're leaving on Monday. Unfortunately there's no group rate for that and the group seems to have taken all the Queen rooms so I had to go with a $105 rate for the entire weekend instead =/ Arriving Saturday because most of my carpool doesn't play TCG and everyone taking Friday off work so I can play cards doesn't work.

In the future it may be possible to get the hotel to be more flexible, but this is their first experience working with us. As to not having a queen room for your reservation, why didn't you take one of the discounted $70 queen rooms for Saturday and then add on Sunday at the non-discounted rate? The hotel assured me they could do that.
