WLGM blend energies.

i know that hydregions ability works on the dark blend energy so i was wondering if eelektiks ability workes for the WLGM blen energy?

The Hydreigon ability only works because the energy is in play. In the discard pile special energies of any name do not actually have a type. Same as in the deck or in your hand. So no.

If you read the special energy cards, they actually say "While in play, this card provides..."

And the discard pile is not in play

Eelektrik also specifies the card, not the energy type.

Klinklang: As often as you like during your turn (before you attack), you may move a [M] energy attached to one of your pokemon to another of your Pokemon.

Eelektrik: Once during your turn (before you attack), you may attach a [L] energy card from your discard pile to one of your benched Pokemon.

The bold areas above actually have a completely different meaning.
