I recently won an auction of neo 4 set japanese
had all cards plus 6 shnings including charizard
all mint
and extra 8 holos
and common/uncommon


but i paid a pricy $450 for it
was it a good deal?

That's a bit steep for my liking, especially since it was not a complete set (missing steelix and celebi).

If you intend to re-sell, I would suggest picking up those other 2 shineys, and if you can find the right buyer you could probably get back what you paid for at least, and maybe up to $550.

I personally sold a complete 16 Japanese card holo set (no shineys) for $50 about 8 months ago. It could also be a good idea to sell the shineys as a complete set separately, as most people are only interested in those cards. Then sell the other set for $150-$200.
