Hey everyone, you`re all invited to come on over for the brand new set EX Unseen Forces Prerelease! Be one of the first to get these brand new cards and also have a blast playing in the tournament! Come have fun at one of the best tournament places in the country where everyone has fun, there are contests to enter, and lots of prizes given out! :)

Make sure to have your POP# if you have one! Call the store to pre-register and make sure you give your name, POP ID# (if you have one), your age and Date of Birth, and which event you are calling for (EX Emerald Prerelease). If you need a POP ID #, one will be provided for you onsite.

TOURNAMENT INFO

Date: Saturday Aug. 13th, 2005

Time: Registration is from 10-11am. Tourney starts after.

Entry Fee: $20 -all players get 6 EX Unseen Forces booster packs to make (and keep all!) a 40 card deck (including energy) for use in the tournament. Energy will be provided.

Tournament structure: The Tournament is run using the Limited Format and Age Modified Swiss pairings. See the Pokémon Floor Rules for information about the Limited Format and Swiss. The number of Swiss rounds run will depend on total attendance at the event.


PRIZE INFO <---------------Sweet!

Prizes are awarded to the top 8 players in each age category (& everyone else will get some as well!). Our age categories are; 10 and under, 11-14 and 15 and up

All participants will receive a Pokémon TCG: EX Unseen Forces Prerelease stamped Promo Card and EX Unseen Forces pin along with extra EX Unseen Forces Boosters as described below!

Top eight finishers in each of the 3 age categories receive the following extra prizes on top of their 6 packs:

1st Place • 10 extra Booster Packs of EX Unseen Forces and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs! (AND 2 "Winner" pins- 1 POP Tourney winner and 1 Unseen Forces winner pin)

2nd Place • 9 extra EX Unseen Forces Booster Packs and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs!

3rd Place • 8 extra EX Unseen Forces Booster Packs and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs!

4th Place • 7 extra EX Unseen Forces and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs!

5th - 6th Place • 6 extra EX Unseen Forces Booster Packs and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs!

7th - 8th Place • 5 extra EX Unseen Forces Booster Packs and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs!

9th and below • 4 extra EX Unseen Forces Booster Packs and 2 POP Series 1 Booster Packs!

FUN CONTEST: Guess the Damage Counters!

I`m offering this fun contest for everyone to have a chance to win a TBA!!! What you do is try to guess the amount of Damage Counters in the jar. Closest person to the correct # of Damage counters in the jar wins the prize! In case of a tie, the winner will be decided randomly by die roll between the tied contestants. Anyone can enter this contest (meaning parents and siblings of players can enter) but each person only gets one guess slip to cast their best guess. You must be present to win.


FUN CONTEST #2 : Coloring Contest

Like to win a TBA given out in this contest? 2 random winners will be chosen for the grand TBA prizes in this contest. One winner will receive the TBA prize and the other winner will receive the SURPRISE! prize. The pictures to be colored or drawn will be provided on site along with crayons or you can even bring in one you colored yourself at home!

:pokeball: Perhaps extra packs or a copy of the Emerald game again. I know Timothy hasn't stopped playing it since he got it, so it must be pretty good. I won't be greedy and say a DS or anything like that. I never win the door prizes anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me. :pokeball:

:wink:In all honesty, I would rather win the tourney. After the experience of Nationals and before, I need something like this, to help rekindle my interest in the game, which has been waning as of late. :frown:

:tongue: But I digress....Sensei, you always come up with something awesome for the top door prize, so we will trust it to your insane mind. Looking forward to this as an awesome end to the Pokemon season. I will see you all there. :thumb:

PS: this is completely off topic, but could you tell me if Wendy has pierced ears? I keep thinking I have seen her wear earings before, but I am not certain. :biggrin:
 
Father Sensei, I shall try my best to drive myself up there this coming August. Although I am planning to participate in the Grinder, I will try my hardest to convince my mom to let me drive myself up there by myself. It has not been confirmed if Rodney is wanting to go or unless he posts soon.

Hi, um I tried calling but whoever it was who answered the phone didn't have any clue about the tourney, so I asked my league professor, and he directed me here. I am supposed to say I am Team Ivy's newest member, and that Totoro sent me. So I'll be there unless the sky falls in.

hum... the dealer of the princess seems to be on the run. some of his recent activities have been shady, methinks...

About Emerald, I was disappointed that they took out the day/night feature. I liked it. The morning times were unfair but I still liked it. It was interesting and made the game feel more real.
I also prefer pokegear to pokenav. pokenav is like a downgrade. Fortunately, I can register more trainers with the pokenav.
I like that items/tools have become more user friendly with the PC.
The new graphics are also cool (the last game I had was Crystal).
