One of my local card shops had them a few days ago. They were $8 a deck. I didn't get any though.

So which one of these deck is the one to buy and individually sell the ex cards? I remember the LBS having Lugia ex, it they could sell for $30! Are there any really valuable cards this time?

wow.

in my opinion those who misrepresented the worlds deck EXs on ebay by listing them as normal EXs are lowlife scum, considering the facts that 1) they aren't tourney legal and 2) aren't holo...

And most important aren't "special Worlds Promos".

Not illegal, if worded carefully, but very, very immoral.

Unfortunately, depending on which card it is, it can go for nearly as much as the real holo card (this is the huh? part). After just checking on eBay, I found out that someone actually paid $50+ USD for the Lugia EX from the WC 2006 LBS Deck :nonono:

The following is the Flyvees deck that was featured in the Pokemon Card Lab site, it won the 10- age group

Pokemon

4x Trapinch d (HP)
2x Vibrava d (DF)
2x Flygon d
3x Flygon EX d
3x Eevee (DS)
2x Jolteon EX
2x Vaporeon EX
1x Absol EX
1x Spearow
1x Fearow d
1x Budew
1x Holon's Voltorb
4x Holon's Castform

Trainers

4x Rare Candy
2x Windstorm
4x Holon Transceiver
1x Warp Point
2x PETM
1x Field Worker
1x Holon Scientist
1x Holon Researcher
2x Holon Mentor
2x Holon Adventurer
2x Copycat
1x Crystal Shard
1x Power Tree

Energy

6x Psychic
4x Lightning

But the question is did the people honestly know what they were buying and that they are near worthless?

Well, that is probably the main crux of the problem since the titles do imply that it IS the promo version. This is one of the auctions that went over $50, and if schill bidding was not involved then I am afraid that person might not know what they are buying. If they are buying the cards for the kids, I can already imagine the disappointment from them when they find out it isn't the real holo card.

PS. Just as a reference, when I sold my extra Blastoise EX (the real card) on eBay, I actually put "This is NOT from the World Championship decks, this is the actual holo card!" just to make sure that they are getting the real card instead of the promo one.

Yeah, it is dumb when they act like they are regular ex cards, but I have no problem if they give an honest description. But the majority of people seeking Lugia ex are little kids that really don't care. They just like that 200 damage from what I have seen :nonono:.

Fieldworker featured in a Worlds winning deck; that is so cool.

As for the selling of the exs, sad but true:

Selling and describing a card by its name only = 100% immoral but yet 100% legal. :(
