it may very well be considered "income". Unless you have a job already, you would probably fall under the min. line for paying taxes on it. Call a local tax accountant. Hope your family has a friend in the field.

But did they sell for more on Ebay? $3600 is about on the level of the "Cyber-Stein" from YGO last year. That's quite impressive from a game that was dead 3 years ago.

they weren't SOLD on ebay--period.
also, about the cyber-stien, the buyer of the one that sold for $23.000 never paid, so it was relisted. i forget how much it sold for then.

From what I remember, around 7000. Not sure on the exact number, tho. Still, the fact that our Winner card is even approaching that area is absolutely amazing, especially considering how completely and utterly dead the game once was...

Mozz: To be considered a donation from you, you would have had to "own" it. Then, depending on UK tax purposes, you may get charged with the "increase in value" or basically, your "profit" on the card as income to you. Yes, it can be a "gift" back to Jeremy, but, as he is just 17-18 yrs. old, unless he is gainfully employed already, then I don't think he would owe anything. ***

***Not a tax attorney, please consult a CPA or Tax att'y for official answers. You can prolly even call the IRS yourself and get the answer to this unique inquiry.

FLA, Cali, Cali are all pretty tropicalish areas. That might be the connection...

Either that, or it's wishful thinking from a team centered in Seattle.

It's a continuation of the Tropical Mega Battles Japan hosted in Hawaii.

[Homer] Hawaii... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm [/Homer]
