Hey everyone, I've been playing pokemom tcg for ever, but recently, I've been interested in worlds and nationals, regionals etc. Could someone break down for me how you get invites to places like these?

Worlds invites

You don't need an invite to play in a Regionals or Nationals.
All of the Worlds invites info is at http://www.go-pokemon.com/op/premierevents/championshipseries/worlds/info/08-09/answers.html . Basically, you need to finish in the top X in your ratings zone, the top Y at your country's Nationals, or the top Z at the Last Chance Qualifier the day before Worlds. The numbers for the first two vary by zone/country, and the last depends on how many spots are left and that final number is announced sometimes as late as the day of the event.
