Worlds Report - Bad Matchups = 2-4 and Miss Cut

I stick with my same R-Gon List for Worlds as the Grinder. I will post it even tho I may use it at Gencon (Most Likely Not Tho)

R1 - Daniel C. - Rhyperior

My Autoloss so I am already 0-1

R2 - Max - Speed Spread/Destiny Mix

Game goes down to the wire however his WP wins him the game after I stumped my Ray ex with 4 DMG and he Espy my only evo in play to take his last prize. I win next turn if he didnt do that. I also whiffed on a 4 card Adv. The 5th Card was the win for me and I didnt get it

R3 - Bidier - Scizor Ex/Blastoise d

I run 2 fire mew and I get a good start to his eh start. I just run thru him with my mews/ray exs

R4 - ?????? - Mirror (I think)

He gets a T2 active Flygon d and I have a crappy start so I get destroyed really quickly. If I had Charm in my opening hand I win tho but I didnt so yeh.

Loss

1-3

R5 - Kant - Lucario/Eeveelutions

I draw everything when I need to and he just gets very very unlucky. He gets ahead on prizes but a key stump wins the game for me by discard the Latios Ex d I used to stall to build up somthing good.

Win

R6 - Jay H. - Scizor/Gross w/Techs

I get an absolutely horrible start to his insane T2 Meta DX start. He takes too many prizes for me to recover. I need a lot of luck once I fell behind from my bad start but just didnt get it.

Loss

2-4


Yeh, so I get bad matchups and bad luck. That is always fun, but I made it thru the grinder so that is an accomplishment in itself.

Yep, thanks man. I rather have even then a poor matchup as it makes the game fun. Good matchups are great but usually they are way too onesided to have fun with it.
