You are wrong. I saw an 8 year old pull it off two weeks ago at league. It was quite funny, because he didn't realize he needed to discard the energy after the attack.

Weavile + Charizard* + Sableye CG = pwnage.

Mentor or roseanne's the basics out then quick ball or celio's or master ball out the Weavile. Shadow charge silly for a few turns while attaching from your hand.

But they still have some of the best artwork ever, So they look nice in collection.
