Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

WWE: Thoughts on WM29 and the AMAZING Raw the following night!!!!

FYI....Wrestlemania 29 will be 4 yes 4 Hours long with a 1 Hour Preshow.

There were only 2 matches that I saw that even came close to being decent. The rest were either boring, goofy, or just plain bad. Then again, I missed the first half of the show. Was the Miz, Shield, Ryback, and Kane matches worth anything?

Shield match was pretty good; although not at level of CM Punk and Undertaker match or Rock match; wrestling techniques wise it could be better; solid B with high flying moves. I hated what happen after the match was over because there was no swerve; Big Show remain a heel after he got furious that Orton tagged himself in instead of Big Show.

summary below is missing the part where Seth Rollins launch himself headfirst at Orton nearly colliding with barricade.

Courtesy of wrestling site:
"Roman Reigns and Sheamus start the match brawling aroung the ring, trading right hands and body blows in the corner - neither will let up. Sheamus takes down the Shield big man with a running axhandle. In comes Randy Orton, and the Viper goes to work picking apart the limbs of Reigns. Seth Rollins gets a tag for the Shield, but Orton backs him into the corner and goes to work with a ten-count of right hands, followed by a slingshot suplex.

Sheamus is back in, but Rollins takes him down with a dropkick to the knee, and now the numbers game begins on the Celtic Warrior. Sheamus fights back and gets the tag to Big Show, who comes into the match for the first time, against Dean Ambrose. Show throws Dean around the ring and pummels him into the corner. Show runs the ropes, but Ambrose dropkicks his knee and takes his legs out from under the Giant.

The heels isolate Big Show on the mat and come in and out with quick tags, not letting him get back to his feet. In comes Reigns, who is actually able to manhandle Big Show, locking in a side headlock. The Giant counters with a huge suplex, but Rollins gets a tag and takes Orton off the apron. Show gets a hot tag to Sheamus and plants Seth Rollins with a knee to the head, before taking him out to the apron and clubbing him with ten consecutive blows to the chest. Ambrose breaks it up, but then gets ten shots of his own! Rolling Senton by Sheamus, and then he picks up Ambrose and does another Rolling Senton right on top of the other Shield victim.

Sheamus and Reigns brawl to the outside, and Randy Orton comes out of nowhere to break it up an attack by the Shield. They get Sheamus up for the triple powerbomb, but Big Show comes out of nowhere with a huge spear on all four of them! Orton gets the tag, and snap suplexes all three members of Shield. Orton coils for the RKO on Ambrose, but Reigns comes out of nowhere with a spear of his own. Ambrose with the cover - 1....2....3."

I miss CM Punk vs Undertaker match but I heard and read that it was pretty good.
Ryback match was boring between two monsters. Very short match.

Rock/Cena was the single most boring match I think I've ever seen with the WWE championship on the line. I think that, between the two, there were 7 actual wrestling moves used. Maybe. And they telegraphed the ending back in December.

There was actually several good matches. You should check out the first half of the show.

I really enjoyed the Shield match. By far, best match of the night goes to Punk vs Taker.

Most of the match was pretty boring but the last 5 minutes were pretty good.

Poor... poor Dolph Ziggler.

Understatement. Although I have to say the tag match was freaking awesome! The opening of the match was hysterical and definitely got the crowd into it. Look for Dolph to try something tonight.

Is it possible that the Raw After Wrestlemania was actually better than Wrestlemania itself? At least in part it was because of that crowd. Those guys were popping all night long. Here's a quick list of the stuff they were chanting...

Sexual Chocolate (twice)
Feed Me More (twice)
JBL
Je-Rry
Mich-Ael-Co-Ole
ECW
Fandango's entrance music (multiple times)
Randy Savage

And I missed a bunch of chants they had going. There had to be a Cena Sucks chant in there. Plus, it got Cole to do this, which needs to happen more often cuz Cole's a goof.

2 titles changing hands, and both of them were necessary title changes. The Brothers of No Destruction vs. Shield? Yeah, I can get behind that. And Cena actually got off a couple of decent quips (heel turn, chocolate, eat it, etc), and was in a match that suited him perfectly.

I wish I could have recorded that thing. It was excellent, and I would love to see that again. Such a wonderful evening.

Dude!! That was like one of the best Raw's I've ever seen. The crowd was electric!! Chants that you missed were "Thank You Show", "We Are Awesome", "Holy Expletive", "RVD", "We Want Ziggler", and "This Is Awesome". Best crowd ever!!

I was freaking out when Ziggler finally cashed in. I was reacting like I was there with the crowd. Just amazing! Barrett, Ziggler, Bryan, Y2J, Fandango, Undertaker, Shield, Heyman, Bigshow and Henry were all over! Miz, Orton, Sheamus, and Cena were hated. Just the crowd singing Fandangoo's theme all night makes him totally over. Reminds me of when Kurt Angle used to come out and the crowd would chant "You Suck" to his music. An absolute amazing night! I'm glad I was able to record the show.

CM Punk might be out of action for a few weeks as he injure his knee during his match with Undertaker. He was noticeably limping on Monday prior to show. He will have an MRI later in the week to determine the extent of injury.

I read about that. I know he was supposed to take some time off anyway after WrestleMania but we'll see if that happens. When I saw the jump and the table not breaking I said an expletive haha.

Yeah, that spot should have been an elbow drop from the top rope crashing through the announce table. Punk didn't get enough height on that jump, and drove his knee directly into the corner of the table. He was clearly hobbled the rest of the match, which was a shame. That was the best match I saw that night.

Then again, were they planning on breaking both the English AND Spanish announce tables? Cuz there was that spot during the HHH/Lesnar match where they also broke that table.

Oh, and Feed Me More vs. Cena for the Championship. It's going to happen, and it's gonna suck. Prepare!

Yeah that spot with Punk was an ouch! They probably just made due in the HHH match. No big deal.
