y use mt. moon

it occured to me that a great deal of mainstream decks i am seeing use the Mt. Moon card, i understand what the card does, but why use the card at all? what are some of the pokemon it can stop?

Different ppl use each card for different reasons. I would personally use Mt. Moon in a Clefairy-themed deck. I'm sure other ppl would have different reasons. The card itself has some potential though, but if you'd just consider it for the effect, it really depends on what you play aginst more.

Mt. Moon stops: Delcatty, Dark Dragonair, Dark Electrode and others

It also stops the Wishing Star Jirachi which has become popular. And any baby evolution powers. And Deoxys' form change. And Dragon Magneton.

You play it when old skool blaze or blasty with catty and magneton is popular in your area, otherwise I would play BF
