Yanccino

I know its a weird idea, but since they are both stage one pokemon and they require small amouts of energy, and well while playing Yanmega we find a full bench. So whould it be a good tech? what do you guys think? Or who else gets along well with Yanmega? Thanx :D:biggrin:

Yeah, it probably could work. Yanmega gives Donphan something to think about, though Gyarados is probably better off paired with Cinccino. The problem is that Cinccino does more damage than Yanmega, and when Catcher is released sniping for 40 will not be that big a deal. You can just use Pokémon Catcher on whatever and KO it with Cinccino. Zoroark is probably a better option, but Cinccino/Yanmega could definitely be a competitive deck.

Yanmega is an awesome card, but I think it is best paired with another 0-energy attacker as the sniping becomes useless with Catcher. And unfortunately, there are no other 0-energy attackers in HGSS-on. :/ Donphan/Yanmega is cool though, just to give you an idea, but then again Donphan probably works better with other cards.

A friend told me about using Marowak, since it would be a good Zekrom counter with only needing one coin flip and using DCE. Also i can use cubone to hold on a bit

Hooray! People are Finally Talking about Me! Here's my standing on the subject.
1) Use only Copycats instead of PONT or Juniper so you can attack for free.
2) Use Pichu if you're using Cinccino. ( They go together no matter what.)
3) If your cinccino gets knocked out too easily, try and use Jumpluff in the deck too.

P.S. if you're wondering why i have togekiss instead of cinccino as my avatar it is because there is no BW avatars yet.

Marowak is an awful Zekrom counter. Besides you do not need one, since Cinccino easily OHKOs Zekrom after it has attacked once.

Pichu is horrible with Cinccino. With Jumpluff it might work, but not Cinccino. Filling up your own bench is not hard at all, and helping your opponent to set up is just stupid.

How does cinccino OHKO a zekrom? It hits 20 for each benched pokemon on my bench. Hiting 100 max. I whould have to add 3 Pluspowers. And marowak with one heads hits 60, adding just 1 pluspower, with weakness its a grand total of 140!

Zekrom's attack deals 40 damage to itself, resulting in a reamining HP yield of 90, which Cinccino can hit for easily. Marrowak is an unreliable and uneeded tech here.

Marowak can take down Magnezone and Zoroark (wich has to get 2 heads to take down Marowak, instead of just getting a full bench against cinccino by using foul play) not only Zekrom, you have a 75% chance to knock down most of them and all you need is DCE, the deck runs plus power so I don`t see the need for gyarados, since yanmega can already take care of donphan, and gyarados can´t survive or deal fast 1HKO`s to Reshiboars anyway.

I`d rather go with Simipour to counter evolved Fire Pokemon, you might not have a weakness against them, but they are so popular and packed with loads of HP.

You'd be surprised how hard it is to fill up your bench, and keep it filled up consistently in this format. You can't forget, we no longer have Uxie, or Azelf. That is 3 Spaces that we could have on our bench, and there not be a problem. Now we only have the Babies, and the basics to our main attackers.

I ran Simisear/ Cinccino just to test it out, and I ran so many cards to get basics. Even then, I would run out of pokemon... Now you could try Revive, but that wont help when trying to get your stage 1's back. I think Pichu is a nice card, especially decks that need the bench space.
It is definitely worth trying, and don't be shut down because somebody told you it was a BAD idea. I ran Yanmega Cinccino, and really, it only had a big, BIG, problem with Magnezone... Which means it isn't too good, but against just about every other deck you do good :)

Idk about Reshiphlosion though... Judge won't help you in that match up lol. Unless you don't let them set up :p

I have tested cincinno decks extensively and I can tell you that in this type of deck, yanmega isn't needed. The fact that it has linear attack shouldn't matter for a cincinno deck considering the amount of reversals and junk arms that should be in there. the other thing it has going for it, it's potential for covering cincinno's weakness, is also not reason enough to play it. The most prevalent fighting pokemon is donphan. and against donphan, yanmega can only 3 hit while donphan can 2 hit if it has the energy for heavy impact. Thats why gyarados is a good partner for yanmega. Not only can it survive longer, it has a much easier time 2hkoing donphans, which is what will allow you to pull ahead in the matchup.

Thats not the issue.
Yanmega only has 110 HP.
Zekrom does 120, and magnzone does 110 for 1 energy to the lost zone+1 plus power, and if you have metapod then they need only 2 energy and a plus power. Plus a lot of magneboar run reshiram which OHKO's it.
Don't like metapod.

Donphan/Cinccino w/techs is cool. And it can be built like a toolbox-deck, and those are always fun.
