Would that be related to the tidbits that were being strewn around the board earlier last week?

Regardless of what is said on this board, it should have ZERO effect on her organized play status. This is a privatly owned board. PUI CANNOT suspend a player from organized play for anything that is done outside its events. This is a game, for Christ sakes. Not the govenment. PUI cant control anything that is not done within the confines of there tournaments and/or events.

O.k. I understand that Nintendo sponsors the boards and can pull people out of the professorship due to some things that are said here. However it has NO direct bearing on Organized play.

I personally think that they wont even pull any professorships for what is being said here. If that were the case All the Mods would lose theirs!!. :thumb:

Hitting Moss with a bat.......too funny!!!

POP can certainly discipline its TOs/PTOs/Professors for leaking confidential information on a public board it doesn't control...which is what 'Pop was referring to, not homeofmew's suspension. Read his post and the post prior to his again please.

And sorry to disappoint, but no, none of the mods have 'lost their professorship'...=/

To clear things up this has nothing to so with the PTO who got in trouble. That was company confidental Stuffs.

The stuff I posted here was easily accessible on the op.pokemon-tcg site.
IE it said I was a Deactivated Member / TO. As I can post that I got banned. I poted the reason I was banned (what I was accused of) and my defence.

I would like to reiterate what homeofmew and 'mom are saying here. There is no connection here between homeofmew getting suspended and the PTO (from another state) being suspended.

homeofmew was not suspended for things she said on these boards, but rather for breaking POP rules in the capacities of the various positions she held: professor, LL, TO. (POP investigates, and if an error was made, they correct it -- which explains why certain suspensions are reversed).

A PTO can be suspended for breaching confidentiality agreements, regardless of where that breach occurred.

POP members can get suspended for what they say on these boards IF it violates POP's rules. POP/PUI does not have the right to ban them from PokeGym, but they can ban them from POP.

what I said on the board does not break POP rules.
Although POP doesn't like it. for obvious reasons.
POP banned that PTO because he leaked company info that
was supposed to be 100% secret between the PTO and the Company

these two situations are toatally different

This is not the proper area to discuss the suspended PTO and what was done to earn that.

Yeah, I'm not sure why you guys felt the need to bring it up here (thanks to Steve bringing it up...). What's done is done, and our PTO is accepting full responsibility for what happened and is willing to pay for his mistake. If anything, feel free to bash him in the PTO forums since that seems to be already happening there. Otherwise just take it to the OP boards if you feel the need to discuss the suspended PTO.

This topic is discussing what happened to homeofmew, not what happened to my PTO... :nonono:

Not sure who this is being directed at..... but I'll respond.

I don't think anyone is bashing anyone. It shouldn't have even been brought up here. I don't know who Steve is, but what he said really had nothing to do with homeofmew's case. He could have made his point without mentioning THAT part.

I reiterated 'mom and homeofmew's posts, which were essentially in response to Banginbox's post. My response was actually just very general information of what constitues actionable behavior -- and not just pertaining to PUI/POP, but to all organizations who have such agreements with their members.

Sorry Team Cook, I was mainly addressing that post to SteveP and the other couple individuals who swayed off topic in this thread. I apologize for not making that post more clear.

Tina,

I am very glad POP changed directions on your case. POP is good about being fair.

I am sorry your post got hijacked because of another case, hopefully this will be the last post.

It's ok, Rocketman doesn't have to apologize.
I am glad POP saw that there was a whole bunch of Miscommunication.
