------ Darkrai EX------- HP 180 :dark:
Ability: Dark Cloak
As long as this Pokemon is in play, all of your Pokemon with any :dark: Energy attached to them have no Retreat cost.

:dark::dark::colorless: Night Spear
90 damage. Choose 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon, and this attack also does 30 damage to that Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance when damaging the Bench.)

Pokemon-EX Rule: When Pokemon-EX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: Psychic (-20)
Retreat: 2
-----------------------

-----Dark Patch-------- Trainer Item
Choose 1 Basic Darkness Energy card from your discard pile and attach it to one of your Benched Darkness-type Pokemon.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strategy: Get out at least 1 Darkrai EX on the first or second turn. Usually by using Pokemon Collector. Now, the pokemon with a high retreat cost is 0 with 1 of the colorless energies needed using 1 :dark: in that colorless' place. Same w/ Mewtwo EX also used for it's strong attack. Reuniclus is used for moving damage around my bench and/or Active. Max Potion takes off whatever damage is put on reuniclus.

On of the biggest issues you're going to have in this deck is your very high energy count compared to your trainers. You might get the pokemon, the energy... but then what?

It seems like an interesting idea, but you're very ex heavy and don't play many supporting trainers at all.

I like the idea, but I'd do some major cutting done on the amount of ex pokemon and energy cards. I would suggest focussing around Zoroak and Darkrai, especially the upcoming zoroak.

If you want to go for Darkrai/Regigigas/Reuniclus/Terrakion/Zoroark/Mewtwo/Shaymin (loooool that's alot!) as a fun deck, you shlould try to make it more consistent and therefore play more T/S/S to get out asap. Try it with something like this:
I would cut out Terra, to focus more on the Dark-Type Pokemon and Energy... and probably change Shaymin EX to regular Shaymin for the same reason, and because it works really good in here with Dark Patch...

1 Cleffa
2 Zoroark
2 Zorua
2 Darkrai EX
2 Regigigas EX
1 Mewtwo EX
2 Shaymin
2 Reuniclus
1 Duosion
3 Solosis
-18-

4 Collector
3 PONT
4 Juniper
2 N
3 Candy
2 Communication
2 Catcher
3 Dark Patch
4 Junk Arm
1 Eviolite
-28-

4 DCE
10 Darkness
-14-

There we go for your Regigias/Darkrai/Zoroark/Mewtwo/Reuniclus Deck! ;D
Hope that helped you a little bit. (It's not the best list, but it's a way it should work OK...)

Bump bump bump

Personally, I say you can't have reuniclus without vileplume. Too many catchers and big hitters

I agree with the above. You should take out the Reuniclus line to open up space for some hand refreshers-
-3 Solosis
-1 Duosion
-2 Reuniclus
-3 Rare Candy

+4 PONT
+2 N
+2 Juniper

Juniper can help get a Dark Energy or two into your discard for Dark Patch early on and N helps if youre behind in prizes.

Also you might want to consider using Smeargle instead of Cleffa and maybe find space for both, as Smeargle UD/CoL can help you set up alot easier with potentially using 2 supporters a turn (one of your own and an opponents)

Darkmots energy list seems sufficent, and you have no need for Prisms as youre not going to be wanting to use Mewtwo's second attack at all, especially since Zoro hits harder for less energy and Mewtwo should only be dropped when an impending Mewtwo threat comes into play.

Also, since you should take out Reuniclus, you have no need for so many Max Potion. 1 or 2 would be sufficient, and you can just retreat your EX that needs healing to your bench and Dark Patch the energy back- this would also open up 2 more spaces in your deck, which could be used for more Catchers or even Twins. With the speed of the top decks in the meta at this point, especially CMT and Eel variants, Twins might be the better bet since you can grab a Mewtwo and DCE for a counter or even grab out a Darkrai and a Dark Energy to get a free retreat if needed and you are behind on prizes.

Another thing you could possible do is add in Terrakion to counter Eels directly, since they are one of the two top decks ATM. In this case you would want to keep Twins in and also keep 2 or 3 Prisms as well. This is optional though, but the above advice seems to be the most critical for deck success. I plan to run a similar deck once DE is released next month.

what about Darkrai's Dark Cloak + Prism Energy?

My brother is trying to say that once you choose what type of energy prism energy will be,it has to remain that type as long as it remains on that basic Pokemon, but I think he's full of it. Of course if you evolve it, the Prism Energy will change to colorless, but I think that at least once per turn you should be able to decide what type of energy prism energy will be as long as it remains on that basic Pokemon. Any official ruling on this?

The official ruling is that as long as its on a basic pokemon, its every type at the same time. no need to chose, its every type simultaneously

Dark Explorers Zoroark requires Dark-type Pokemon on your bench to maximize damage. You'll need to focus on Dark-type Pokemon like Zoroark, Weavile, and Darkrai EX. This deck will not work with your current Pokemon line, since Zoroark's second attack is almost useless (it's going to get OHKOed most of the time).

Zorua (BW: Dark Explorers) x3
Zoroark (BW:Dark Explorers) x3
Regigigas EX x2
Shaymin x2
Mewtwo EX x1
Darkrai EX x2
Cleffa x2

Only 5 Basic Dark-type Pokemon is not optimal.

i'm thinking about running this aswell. based from your pokemon lines i would try and do this ( i am not a fan '1' lines but I think it could work with the ones I put):

3-3 zoroark (1 BW, 2 DE)
1 shaymin
1 mewtwo EX
2 darkrai EX
1 cleffa
3-2-3 krookodile (from the japanese set dark rush; see pokebeach)

also add 4 dark claw and 3/4 candies:

dark claw:

If this card is attached to a (dark) Pokémon, each of the attacks of that Pokémon does 20 more damage to the Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

This deck is really bad. You're supporter count is too low to make this deck consistent, but ignoring that, the deck is just leaving itself too vulnerable. Darkrai's ability is cool and all, but playing a deck where Darkrai is just a bench sitter is a huge liability and really bad. All it takes is catcher/retaliate and you're out two prizes. Regigigas EX also is weak to fighting so that's another free 2 prizes to Terrakion. The top 2 decks in the current format are able to drop surprise Terrakion.

Also you probably don't need Cleffa in here, and the space would be better used for extra supporters. Most of your pokemon are basics, so they don't require much setup, and the Zorua has Ascension, and you should be trying to use that on t1 as much as possible.

why no junk arms and only 3 Dark patchs? your whole energy acceleration is based on dark patch.
Also Prism doesnt do lots of things.
