You know what game was awesome?

The Pokemon Tcg for the Game Boy.

Man, I was on Ebay the other night and I saw that Meowth card that came with it, and it brought back so many great memories of that game. The hours of game play, the cool up-beat music, the epic final battles with the card “masters” or whatever they were called. For that moment, I relived a great part of my childhood again.

As for the Ebay auction, “Buy it now” was clicked and that card will remain in my binder as a true testament to a memorable game.

Anyone else care to share a video game that makes them feel good?

Me its mostly pokemon and zelda that I have always loved. They always bring me back to the good old days were I didnt know what the heck I was doing in it LOL.
Like pokemon blue I didnt know how to get past the sleeping guy it Veridin city lol It took me a week of doing nothing but training my pokes then I just found out what to do from my little bro LOL.
Then the zeldas I remember the nes ones and they were fun and every time I play one of them games even the new ones I remember them day.

Normal song did rock! God, Nintendo is a freaking idiot for not coming out with a new game.

Dude, I said the same exact thing over and over again.

I know this sounds weird, but I know some guys who make homebrew games and would be interested in making a GameBoy game. They always welcome a challenge, so I may ask them to make an updated Pokemon TCG video game with some way of downloading new cards into the cartridge, wouldn't that be awesome?

Although the Game cartridges have limited memory, it may need to be DS game, and homebrew kits are still fairly new for that.

Well, here's to wishful thinking, right?

Yeah a homebrew game would be sweet.

Games that would strike me with nostalgia would be Spyro Year of the Dragon and Pokemon Gold Version.

yeah defenitely pokemon gold. With my indestructible feraligator, me and my sister would play that for hours
(even though the game was hers).

Zelda Spirit Tracks has been 100% epic so far. Definitely one of the best hand held games I've ever played.

Now I know I have to pick that up. It being Zelda and your review just sold it for me. Thats how twilight princess was for me. I have always loved playing Zelda.

No I didn't get to get that one ether I was jobless at the time but now I'm trying to get my list of games and poke stuff palished off but one <?> should I get Zelda PH befor ST

Spirit Tracks is sooooooooooooo good. On my family's skiing trip I played it almost 24/7 (even though we weren't there for that long). I ended up beating it in five days, beating my record of Phantom Hourglass in a week. The final boss was a bit lacking though.

On topic: Gold and Blue always give me that warm feeling of nostalgia. Firered and Emerald always bring a tear to my eye, remembering the heartbreaking moment in third grade where those games got messed up because of AR.

I played that game probably more than I should of, but got fed up as al the used copies I bought deleted the save files quickly, one unfortunately after I had collected all 226 cards.

I played it almost all day for two days and beat it, still took 20 hours though... And why do you think that the final boss was lacking? It was much harder than beating PH's final boss.

DarthPika I just picked up Zelda ST and I love it thanks for the reveiw on it well thanks and any one els out there that likes zelda should pick one up if they haven't done so yet it's great. Like I said if still reminds me of the old NES and SNES games.

@pikamaster: It was harder, but pretty much all you did was make it so Zelda doesn't get hit. Wind Waker had a great final boss, as did Minish Cap. There are many others, but I just can't think of them.

that would be sick if they re-did the tcg game!! but one thing ive always thought would be cool is an app for iphone kinda like redshark! it would be sick to make and test decks on youre iphone! even an app like the research tower would be cool!

For me it would have to be Emerald. I could never play that game enough. Playing it now brings back memories.
