Your ideas of the future Pokemon games

Well, now that we know that Red/Blue is being rereleased with the new game elements, a small question came into my head.

What kind of new game elements do YOU want to see in the future Pokemon games? Please explain your idea. No arguing, fighting, insults, and name-calling. I might as well start:

Well, I would definately like to see the idea of pokemon interaction not only between Pokemon/Trainer, but also Pokemon/Pokemon, Even though we have a basic idea of interaction because of the Pokemon Egg idea, I think that Nintendo/Gamefreak should expand more into Pokemon interaction. It could be a story like this:
-catch two Pokemon
-have them battle side by side in 2v2 battles constantly
-have them become friends with one another
-When they become good friends (not like that  ), then they can learn an attack on their next level called Fusion, which would make the two fuse together for one battle to become a completely different, yet more powerful, pokemon.

EXAMPLE
1. Catch a Bulbasaur and a Squirtle
2. Have them battle together for a while (when they are Venusaur and Blastoise)
3. If they are real good friends by that time, they will learn a new attack called fusion.
4. Go into a 2v2 battle
5. access Fusion, and, voila. You have created the rumored Venustoise (I think  ) for one entire Trainer battle.

I would like to see RPG style for the GC. Even though you can't take your GC every were to battle some one but thats way they made memory cards, oh and theres LAN.( or the internet )

I would, like you said, Arthras, like to see pokemon bonding, but not "fusing" together. I think that sounds to corney. Also, I would like to see all gym leaders(not just the Hoen ones)in one game. And you should be able to play gym leaders more than once just for fun.

Well, we got some good ideas so far, but how about different methods of transportation? How about a skateboard? It wouldnt be anything like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, but I think we should have something besides a bike.

I like the idea of fusion but i think it would be even better if two pokemon mate and get out a totaly different pokemon like you mate a pikachu and a charmander then get a charchu or something like that ,then i would like to be able to custimize my trainer like at the beginning of the game you get to make your trainer a boy or a girl then pick there
hair color then there hat then there backpack etc.

That sounds very interesting. I was actaully thinking about that at first. Maybe a method of mating that combines the Parent's pokemon types.

I'd like to see a Pokémon game based on Team Rocket (or some other evil Mafia type group) where you start out as a grunt and end up as the leader.

Another idea I've been throwing around is to realease two games together like they always do. Have them be able to do the interchanging that we are all used to and everything, but have the two games take place in different areas.

That's a very interesting idea.

Perhaps make them almost interchangable. Start in (version a) and if you'd like, start anew in (version b) or transfer over your old file. And vice versa, start in one version, continue in the other version. That would be an EXCELLENT insentive to get both versions, as long as they didn't completely get cheap on the games. (Which would mean that you'd have to get BOTH versions to get a decent game. That would be bad)

And fusion... Isn't that a more Yu-Gi-Oh type thing...?

Pokemon is evolution, animals, that sort of natural stuff. ;)

For me I think a completely functional Gamecube version would be great. Players should have complete choice of whether to start in Pallet Town (Kanto), New Bark Town (Johto), or Littleroot Town (Hoenn). There should also be a huge customizable character system, where you could choose gender, body shape, face shape, eye color, skin color, hair color, clothes, etc. Also depending where you pick would depend on the story of the adventure and how to get to each area, There should be Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, but there should also be the Orange Islands plus cool places like Altemare to visit. All 386 Pokemon except for Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Deoxys should be avalable to catch. Also players should catch all of the badges from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and the Orange Islands, and when you collected all of the badges from one region you would face off in a tournament and only by passing that would players fight against the Elite Four and their champion. With the Orange Islands though would you face only against their overall leader (which is Drake in the TV series). The game should be compatible with the e-reader using the Pokemon Battle-e Cards and the GCN/GBA Link cable, you should be able to trade with Ruby, Sapphire, Neo Red and Neo Blue. Now the crusial part, GET THE GAME ONLINE CAPABLE! I would like to see online tournaments, seperate link battles, trading, trainer profile swaps, and so much more. Secret Bases yes! Decorate rooms yes! Any way to customize the game play yes! I would buy this Pokemon game in a heartbeat.

Here are my points.
General Features
-a function (simmilar to surf) would allow you to ride on your pokémon on land to access special areas (for example, a fire-type would let you ride into a volcano).
-HM's no longer count as your moves and cannot be used in battle; they have their own set and you can only have four.
-You could battle a trainer (even gym leaders) more then once.
-Trainers have a defined path, and you would have to find them to battle them.

Battling and Trainers
-Hoenn, Kanto, and Johto will all be featured, along with a new area called Shonen.
-there will be a total of 32 gym leaders, and four different leagues that would have specific requirements to enter.

Battling and Link Features
-Trading will exist between all versions of the pokemon games, so all of the pokémon will be available.
-standard functions of link cable are included, except now a free-for-all mode where 3-4 trainers may battle and you pick targets like you would in a 2v2.
-non-link battles can also be in ffa mode.
-you may also trade with people you have battled in non-link mode, instead of the standard i want [this], gimme [that]. Now, you may offer a pokémon and they can make a counter-offer.

I'm still waiting for a voice-recognition based Stadium game so we can finally battle like they do on the TV show.

would be interesting. All they would have to do is copy the "Hey You! Pikachu!" program, tweak it a little, and make it a GCN/New Product game.

I've always thought of an idea where you play as (or under) a Gym Leader before starting your journey. I think we always see the Pokemon games through a hero's journey. I mean, what do you think Sabrina does all day, wait for you to visit?

Yeah, she does...

And How Bout you can use MORE than 2 pokemon at a time? (like in the shows?)

One Legendary Species per game (reminds me of when i had 6 mewtwos in Gold...)

Trainers Actually Walk Around, See Trainers fight other Trainers, Make Elite four like a tournament (heal between battles, people watchig(audience), Dont walk up to the guy and talk to him to start the fight (In the shows, the competitors stand far away from each other.)

Battle Animation (not like Crystal, I mean like: EX: Ralts used tackle. *Ralts walks up to opponent and tackles him*)

Travel to Different Planets? (drum drum drum cymbal) You: LAME!

Wild Pokemon are not always BAD?!?!?

PICK WHAT YOU WANNA SAY?!?!?!

PEOPLE DONT ALWAYS SAY THE SAME THING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

EARN BADGES FOR DOING FAVORS OR TASKS, NOT ALWAYS BATTLE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Uh... Dodge Attacks and Use Attacks for Strategies! EX: Blaziken uses flamethrower on your Sceptile! Sceptile evades that attack by using Solarbeam on the ground and going into the air!

...THAT'S ALL

yes, it does mean boy, but it sounds interesting for the english audiance, if you were looking for a translated name (something that actually means something) then i'll have to think of something mythological :)
