Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Yu-gi-oh! to Pokemon compatibility?

I was thinking. What if Yu-gi-oh! Duel Monsters could be transfered over to Pokemon rules?

The amount of stars would be the HP of the creature, and the special effects would be Pokemon Powers.

I'm not sure how to fit the rest in, but I'm sure you guys in the Create-a-Card factory can help me figure out how to put the rest into Pokemon rules.

Any ideas people?

My friends and I have made this joke for a long time, and I've been itching to put it up somewhere...

I use Polymerization to combine my Bill and Maintenance into Bill's Maintenance :D:D:D:D:D

lolol

Well, actually, it seems to me the DEF stat would be more likely to become HP. It would take a bit of figuring to decide exactly how to make the transformation, but it does make more sense. Effects would become either attack effects or Pokemon Powers, depending on the Effect itself. A lot of cards (mostly Magic and Trap cards) would have to be banned or changed radically, but who knows?

Sense when do people think you can mix oil and water?

Yu-Gi-Mon!

Anyway, DEF=HP ATK=ATK Damage. Every attack takes away from their DEF stats. Stars would have to be a way to tell if something evolves from it. I suppose a lvl 5 or 6 could "evolve" from a lvl 1-4 monster and a lvl 7+ evolves from a lvl 5 or 6 but make so it has to be the same type.

Example:
Jinzo evolves from Mechanical Chaser.

Dark Magician evolves from Chaos Command Magician which Evolves from Gemini Elf.

Another thing is that the Main types would be super effective to another one. Example is that Light does double damage to dark type monsters. Wind does double damage to Earth monsters. Ect.

The effects of a monster is just an added effect to the ATK of the monster.

And last, there would have to be a ban on all major monster removal cards. Such as Raigeki, Dark Hole, Mirror Force, ect., b/c in Yu-Gi-Mon the goal is not to destroy your opponent's LPs but to claim their 6 prizes. And if there were these monster removal cards then it would make for a short game.

60 card deck, you can have 4 Pot of Greed, 4 Graceful Charity, ect.

It could work.

I thought about this before as well. Here's how I figured it out:

* stars indicate evolution levels; 2-4 is Basic, 5 & 6 is stg. 1, 7 on is stg. 2
* for every 400 points in their ATK, the attack does 10 damage(rounded up) 300 oints in DEF is 10 HP . If the ATK is more than 1500, you have to flip to attack to attack.
* one star is considered baby and has baby rule

That's the best I could do
