Yveltal Question (Pitch-Black Spear Attack)

So I recently got the Yveltal card that has the pitch-black spear attack and added it to my deck. However my sister brought up some confusion with the card. The attack says 60 damage then says 60 damage on one ex of the opponents benched Pokemon. I read it as 60 damage to the active then 60 to an ex bench Pokemon of my choice. However she reads it as 60 only to the benched ex Pokemon of my choice. I've included a link to the card on the Pokemon webpage. Thanks so much for anyone who can clear this up.

When a Pokemon's attack has a big number off to the right of the attack text, that is damage done to the opponent's Active Pokemon.
The text will either clarify it (if it is something like "20x") or give additional damage and effects to be done.
In this case, it is 60 damage to the opponent's active Pokemon AND 60 damage to a Pokemon EX on their bench, if they have one.
If they have no Pokemon EX on the bench, that damage is wasted.
