I have 2 different questions, all involving Zebstrika. Here's the situation in question for both questions:
Zebstrika just used Disconnect, activating the effect of the card locking Trainers. The opponent has something active (Not important what it is), and the opponent has a Vulpix and machamp prime on their bench.
1. If the opponent evolves their Vulpix into a DRX Ninetales, and moves Zebstrika from the active spot, does Item lock disappear (Meaning the effect was placed on Zebstrika)?
2. If Machamp Prime uses Fighting Tag to switch with the active pokemon, or if the active pokemon retreats, does Item Lock fall (Meaning the effect was on the defending pokemon)?
I guess it boils down to what does the effect...affect? Zebstrika, the defending pokemon, or the state of the game?
