This list was based on Pooka's Regionals list from last year, so it's very out of date. Help me tune it up?

3 Zekrom
2 Thundurus
2 Tornadus-EX
4-3 Eelektrik
2 Mewtwo EX

4 N
4 Juniper
3 Level Ball
3 Ultra Ball
2 Random Reciever
3 Pluspower
2 Switch
2 Eviolite
1 Super Rod
4 Catcher
3 Bianca

9 Electric Energy
4 DCE

For those unfamiliar with Zeels, the strategy is to lead with an attacker early (Thundurus or Tornadus) and build up Eels, then use Dynamotor to cycle energy out of the discard pile and onto beefier attackers, like Zekrom and Mewtwo, so that you have a constant stream of hard hitters.

I know more modern lists run Raikou EX, and Emolga is probably a sound play in here as well. I actually chose Thundurus at first because it's not an EX attacker, and it accelerates energy from the deck - so that's why I have that, and not Raikou.

Thanks in advance. ^ ^

Ok, so I've been doing alot of testing on ptcg.me with zeels. First off tool scrapper is a must. At least 2of. Garbodor will see play and without scrapper, it WILL ruin your day. I've also been testing with a split of tynamo between thunder wave and spark. It allows me to run sans pluspower. Tornadus EX has been junk in here, even against fighting. It should be 3 mewtwo and a zek ex or go home. And 2 regular zekrom is plenty. Also, random receiver was one of the first things I cut. Just play the 4th bianca. All things being equal, Mewtwo is really the star of this deck now.Something like this -

Cut
2x receiver
3x plus power
2x nadus EX
2x zekrom
Add
2x tool Scrapper
1x mewtwo
1xzek ex
1x raikou
2max potion
1x Bianca
1x something else. I'd say without bridges in this, another switch.

Gl with it. That isn't my exact build, but it's closer. I kept losing games till I added more mewtwo and max potions. But if nothing else, remember to run tool scrapper or fold to every garbage (literally) deck running around.

Garbodor really isn't a threat to be honest. Anyone teching tool scrappers just for that is wasting space. Mewtwo does the job just fine. Also, I'd drop pluspower, in the end without junk arm its just a simple throw in card and in Zekrom there really shouldn't be throw ins.

I wouldn't be worried about Garbodor at all honestly. As long as you're playing Thundurus, Catcher plus disaster volt should do the trick.

Also, Tornadus isn't that great in here. At least 1 Raikou EX is a must.

Explain how tynamo makes up for the loss of plus power?

Maybe I stated it wrong. Plus power just doesn't really fit anymore. Playing a couple spark tynamos can toss ten somewhere and add that extra damage. I'm not playing theorymon. I've been testing it. It doesn't 'make up for it', but it adds an element. As for the garbodor thing, there are SOOO many different things I've ran into that have been running it. And it simply negates your strategy. That alone is a compelling reason to run a couple tool scrapper. But it also stops exp shares/ eviolites/ scarves/ and that random rocky helmet that jumps out of nowhere to screw up the math. It's just too versatile to dismiss.
