Raging Idiot Deck

20-Pokemon
3-Abra
2-kadabra-
3-Alakazam-damage swap
3-Doduo
3-Dodrio-rage-retreat aid
3-Cleffa
3-Onix-rage-Genesis-lvl 22

26-Trainers
4-Elm
4-Bill
3-Pokemon Center
4-focus Band
4-Double Gust
3-Pokemon Trader
2-Pokemon Breeder
2 nrg stadium
1 Time Capsule

14-Energy
7-Psychic Energy
7-fighting

Strategy
Focus band onix and/or dodrio. Build alakzam. Damage sawp to onix or dodrio, rage for 60 (onix)or 70 (dodrio) max. Kadabra (3 for 50) provides decent back up. Pokecenter just in case. Retreat aid power makes oniix a 1 retreat cost poke. NRG stadium works in combo w/this power and 2 nrg deck. My son says I'm an idiot to use this deck hence the name. It works.

my only thing is that you could probably take is 2 double gusts and try to use 2 bill..
bill is good for drawing power,

14 nrg's is good since you have a good amount of psychic pkmn.

thats all i can think of....

I'd drop the onix's for Pichus. In this means, you can Zap, and build up damage for rages. I'd try to add Gold Berry in there too. You can swap +6 to Dodrio, lay a gold berry down, etc.

4 bills already
Onix protects dodrio against electric plus the point is move damage and rage. Dodrio has a power also!

IMO rainbow energy could work nicely here. It'd power rage, and it'd make the dual energy types work more easily.

I'd also find a way to tecH 1 Metal Energy, and 1 Steelix...just for fun, and to hose grass.

Just a thought.

Think about it, Psycodad. You have 2 Dodrios out, and an alakazam. You zap your opponent, you hit yourself with +2 across your board. Next turn you damage swap to dodrio, lay gold berry down, +6 damage. I think this could work nicely.

Scizor-thanks for your reply, another breeder may b cool
X-yeah, I get it, I may tech one chu as a way to get damge on drio or zam to spread around.
RS-rainbow might open a slot or 2 for recycle plus it adds instant damage. I had considered earlier but I just started playing this deck yesterday so I have not tried all options. I can not add recall (MMF) and I really am tired of steelix. In fact, a poor playing steelix deck (and professor I may add)is why I made the deck!

Hey Eric, cool deck. You might want to go with just Steelix and try to squeeze in 2/2 on M. Fossil and Aerodactyl. Still play Kazam, but maybe cut Dodrio. You might want to even play even more than two Aerodactyl. I hope you like my changes.

I like the deck, nice concept. I thought Muk would give this some trouble, but then I saw Kadabra. All I can think of is to try and add the Lily Pad Mew promo.

Here's what I have found out about the deck in play testing:
-you need onix first
-the perfect set up is 1 alakzam, 2 dodrio, 1 cleffa, 2 onix
-fire beats this deck if you can not rage basics early

This is why I think Pichu would work SO good in this deck. You should seriously think about 3. I'd drop the Bands and add in 3 GB. Then you've got an open spot for a Pichu. Then a rainbow for another. I don't know where I'd put a third.

Xeodus,
Pichu does not help much against rk9/entei with scoop up! I may still try one if I get a chance to play test. The bands are key to raging so they stay. I have to find another way to fit one or two.
