Next up...Lairon and Manectric, in whatever order. Hope for the last three or four being new, or have we seen more than six?

Yes, the best Pokemon in the game!!!!!

From pokemon-tcg.com:
Mewtwo ex
One of the classics is back! Mewtwo has always been a tough competitor but now this psychic Pokémon will ready to battle with improved ex styling. Coming at you with 100 HP and a Psyburn that inflicts 60 damage, Mewtwo ex will drive your opponent's Pokémon to distraction!

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

It is a powerful card. Of course there is it's 100HP factor to think about, and I think a Focus Band as a Poketool and Hyper Potion will help keep the card in play.

There is no e-code on this card. I think this is a holo card because it's rarity is a white star. So it will be interesting to see if any Pokemon that didn't appear in the Ruby and Sapphire games will have any e-code.

I'm more worried about an "EX" rule that could prevent running 4 Mewtwo and 4 Mewtwo EX in the same deck.

Pokemonrulz and Carrington read my mind. I'm happy this card is coming out, but worried about any rulings that may be made.

Hey guys, before this Card o' Day thing started, the official site said the last card would be on the day the set was released, meaning there should be 10 cards shown all together, not 9.

I hope they don't show Lairon or Manectric without at least showing Aron and Electrike first. Being able to get 2 prizes per ex pokemon is cool, but I too wonder about how many you can have per deck.

Manectric
Enter Manectric! Manectric is constantly discharging electricity from its mane. Bring this Pokémon to battle for a hair-raising experience. Manectric will be able to fend off most attacks with its 70 HP. When the moment is right, drop a Gigashock on your opponent's Pokémon and you'll be electrified by the damage to the foe and their Bench.

Hmm.. 40 for 3 (with one colored) and 10 damage to two of the benched Pokemon (that's not TOO bad), Resistant to Metal. Not bad. Not good, but not Bad. At least their description text had more to do with the card then Mudkip's.

I love that we keep seeing cards that have already been released and shown in other areas of publications. I would love to see a trainer of two of this set. As I learned early on in my game playing that which Pokemon you use in your decks is important, but it is the trainers that can win the game for you.

*sigh* It just shows how much Nintendo pays attention to their customers. Besides, if they let Scyre use those scans of cards in their recent issue, then why the heck are they putting it on their site now? My guess is that one of the main reasons why people have bought the latest issue of Scyre these past few weeks is because they wanted to see the scans for themselves. Well Scyre, since Nintendo went ahead and posted the images online for themselves, don't expect sales of the June issue to stay high for long...

[Embarrassed] [Embarrassed] [Embarrassed] Lol... Scrye is probably selling very well actually, at least- that's how I understand it. Infact, I know people who don't usually buy the magazine who bought 8 copies this month, some of them just for the promo. So I think that it is quite a decent was of achieving 2 things:
(a) Getting MANY extra sales of Scrye (keeping the magazine happy)
(b) Nintendo receiving some NICE advertising.

Why conplain about things that are free? I think the obvious message is that they put the pictures in the magazine first, so that if you wanted to see them, you had to buy the magazine.. [Smile]
