Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

New Level X cards?

there aren't any colorations, dp wise, that the LVX in the set are on the packet artwork (par like 2)

dp1 packets are:
dialga
electivire
lucario
palkia

MT has
chomp
3 fairies
magmortar (i think)
toxicroak

SW has:
gallade
roselia
honchkrow
weavile

mag and hoch are the only ones that had a LVX in that set, and mag was also a on LVX in tha set!

people have done this before, it is a common asumption, that is incorrect.

What's incorrect is your understanding of what he meant.

The Pokemon on pack art are always in the set. Not necessarily as LvXs, but as cards.
Because Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai, and Cresselia are on the pack art, they are in the set.
Because Japan recently got LvXs of those four Pokemon, it is safe to assume that they will be in the set as LvXs.
To put it simply,
You thought the assumption was "They're on the packs therefore the LvXs are in the set."
The real assumption is "They're on the packs, therefore they're in the set, and the LvXs were recently released in Japan therefore the LvXs are in the set."

Agreeing that as awesome as it would be to see Lv Xs in a Precon deck like in Japan, it's not happening here for whatever dumb reason they decide. Most likely candidates are Darkrai, Palkia, and Dialga due to the movie obviously, possibly Cresselia. I see Garchomp Lv X more in a POP series sadly as well. For Leafeon or Glaceon, no clue. If Eevee and friends are in the set, the Lv X versions will probably make it in as well.

You mean make the pre-cons the only way to get the LV.X pokemon, then just have the rest in the set?

That'd be... REALLY cool, especially since it sounds like Pokemon's trying to use Level as the identifier between multiple pokemon of same name, rather then card number. I really don't understand why we aren't having some LV.X pokemon only in starter decks, and others only in the boosters. It's not like anyone bought starter decks except for supporters, basic energy, and 1 or 2 pokemon here and there (Hello Charmeleon starter deck with no Charizard for some reason, but had Pidgeot...)

I think that they will put darkrai, dialga and palkia in the theme decks and release garchomp, cresselia, leafion and glacion in the set. I feel it is the only way to catch up with japan. but, we will see next month.

What on earth are you talking about?
Great Encounters will have JP DP3's Darkrai, JP DP3's Darkrai LvX, and possibly also JP DP4's Darkrai.

what am i talking about? i'll spell it:
palk and dalg are defo LVX's (we think)

cres and rai don't have non LVX in rotation in english cards yet, so there is a chance that it won't reach LVX until the set after. thats what i'm saying.

I think we could have like 7 Lv.X in this set (Hold on) because they are the equivalent of ex's (rarity-wise). In the ex series we got 8 ex's in a set so why can't we have 7??? (It is most likely 4 Lv.X's, the legendaries, because of the lack of Lv.X's in SW).

There was no Darkrai before Darkrai lvX in Japan. Same with Cresselia. There was no Infernape, Empoleon, Torterra, or Magmortar before their LvXs in America.
Do research before talking plzktnx.

no, they were the same time, but never before, and i ain't so sure that cres and rai in LVX and nonLVX igonna happen for some reason. i think they'll do palk and dialg LVX and normal cres and rai. then i think they'll throw in a different LVX so that it isn't entirly legendary dominated (i think prolly roserade LVX). that i think would be better, it doesn't seem right to stick all the legendary LVX's in one set, it seems too obvious and slighty plain to do that. nintendo would be wise to mix it up a bit.
and i do know what i'm talking about reaserch wise. i was implying that a LVX has not ever come before the normal one, and as i see it i don't think that they will cram all the new legendary's into one set.

I'm not saying the LvX will come out before the regular ones. They're going to come out at the same time. In this set.
There's absolutely no logic or reasoning behind "I don't think they would put all the legendaries into one set."
This wouldn't be the first time there were that many legendaries in a set. Pack Art already proves your theory wrong anyways.

lol where did that come from?

I think DP4 will have Dialga, Pakia, Darkrai, and Cresslia LVX. The two Eeveelutions will be in POP7, and Garchomp will be a tin promo.

Japan has 5. We may a sixth to be something like PK or EM was. Just catch up sets.

I doubt we're going to need a catch up set, seeing as how Japan's delaying their DP5 (The only logical reason being so that we can catch up).
Also, such catch up sets aren't usually part of core blocks like the DP block or Holon block. They're made from assorted minisets and promos with the addition of some not-yet-released-in-Japan cards.
