Still not sure if Team Rocket will show up. Salem is so insanely far away when your van is totaled.

An Oregon State Championship wihout Team Rocket in attendance just seems wrong.

Mr. Raichu, Momma June and I (and Ben too) decorated the room yesterday. You have to see this venue!!! It is the best looking place we've ever played. We put up every banner we own. If you are even remotely into Pokemon, walking into this room will get you excited.

See you all tomorrow!

First of all, I don't know what's worse....the traffic or the weather....either way, the weekend invasion of Oregon by Washington has begun in some of the most interesting rain I've been in in a while.

Can't wait for tomorrow, it should be fun...I hope...

Not the best drive down.

Well it took us, and I am not exaggerating and hour and a half to drive from Everett to Downtown Seattle, and after another hour and a half we were only as far as Lakewood. So after 3 hours of travel we had only made it 59 miles. So we pulled over ate at a Dennys and gassed up the car. Lucky for us traffic was a bit more normal when we got back on the freeway and we pulled into the Salem Rodeway Inn at 9:30. So a normal 4 hour drive took us 6 and half hours, but we are here and ready to play tomorrow.

Good luck to all. The Oregon State championship is going to be as fantastic as always I am sure.

My amazing network of contacts has gotten me up to the second info on the situation in Oregon:
They are now entering top 8. Overall they had 190+ people 96ish in the Masters. 7 rounds, only 2 5-2s made it, a lot of 5-2s missed.
Top 8 for Masters is:

....THAT was Jeremy? I didn't know that was him without the hair. >_<

Also, can anyone think of a deck which is entirely devoid of luck for use by someone who is entirely devoid of luck? Also note that I will end my whining right there. As much as I'd love to put you guys on a massive guilt trip, I'll graciously bow out.

Yea, I was one of the 5-2's that did not make the top 8 cut. I was 5-1 and got donked by Tyler N in the 7th Round. It was an awesome tournament though thank-you BDS and staff you did a fantastic job.
On funny bit from the day, In round 4 I was able to beat Flaming Spinach in Sudden death Mirror Match (Gallade/Gardevoir) in round 4, then he got matched up in round 5 vs. my wife Pokemon No Baka where she was able to win a close fought contest with her Magmortar/Typlosian deck.

Tournament was awesome; my only other loss was in Sudden death to Lindsey in round 3. So I was very happy to finish 5-2 vs. such strong competition. My wife went 4-3 and our Phoenix Games League sent 8 players, and six of us had winning records... Awesome job Team Phoenix Games, you all played very well.

Hope to see many of you next week in Tacoma for Washington states.

My amazing network of informants has revealed that the Masters finals is between Ted B and Tyler N (Kenshin's Gardy).
The 96 in masters looks so far like the top number.
