Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Maryland: March 1, 2008

I COULD make a good list, but a better player will be using my Pachi's! Good Luck everyone!!

And now a word from our sponsor, the PokeGym Roundtable.

Call in with your report from MARYLAND!
  • Tell us who won and why.
  • Give play by play on an amazing part of a match!
  • Get together and cheer for your state.
  • Thank the organizers and your opponents.
  • Tell us why it was a great day!
Keep it short, make sure its of intelligible.

See the instructions in the in the lead post for how to do it. Don't forget to identify yourself by screen name and tell where you are from at the START of the call.

We'll put up the Podcasts on the two Sundays following states.

That sounds like the last match ended.

But to be fair, Virginians took the top 2 in Juniors.

My rating is probably now so low that I will obliterate the ratings of the next two or three poeple that I beat at the next tournament. *sighs*

Yes!!

We beat the Virginians!!!

Maryland took Masters and Seniors, Virginia took Juniors. I have a feeling we will at least tie it up next weekend, wait, you won't even be there...

Wait, I FORGORT MY PACHIRISU! I told you I would...

If ShadowCard hadn't rushed me...

I had lots of fun and I mean a lot. Barrels of fun. It seems that everyone judging had fun.
Darn, if I thought people tackled me when I posted pairings at Battle Roads, that was nothin' compared to today. This has got to be one of the most difficult days I had judging a tournament. Time for some practice. I told my judge friends to find what area they are not-as-sharp in and read some stuff about it. I know what my area is and I'll be studying. I'm looking at tournaments that have been uploaded and we are so far the largest SPT Championship in the world. Even larger than Ontario, which had 93.

-Time extensions from too many lengthy rulings

Political borders are just lines in the ground that having nothing to do with Pokemon...
I'd feel much better that I beat Robbie than I would about beating "a Virginian"
