Hello all,

I just wanted to post the deck that I ran the first week of States. It did exceptionally well. It really took my opponents by surprise. It is another slow to build deck, but when you get the lock on theres no way your opponent can get out of it.

So onto the list....

3 pachirisu
3 duskull (SW)
2 dusclops (CG)
3 dusknoir
2 cresselia
2 cresselia Lv.x
2 feebas (GE)
2 milotic delta
2 shinx
1 luxio
2 luxray

4 celios
4 oaks visit
3 rare candy
3 moonlight stadium
3 super scoop up
2 roseannes
2 copycat

7 psychic
4 dre
3 cyclone
1 scramble (should be 2)

This deck was so amazing.... I lost to a t2 houndoom (expected) and a t2 psychic lock. Again there are many advanced strategies in this deck.

The main idea is to set up a Milotic D as fast as possible. It is a key part in this deck. It not only helps you set up, but it allows you to peek into your opponents hand BEFORE you lay your luxray.

Once you get Milotic going, you ideally want to set up a bench of Cress, dusk, and shinx.... I like to leave the last spot open for a nice alternative mid to late game. use pachi to place counters till they Ko it. When the do, push up cresselia and level up. Moonlight stadium should allow you to free retreat bringing up Dusknoir.

I love this deck cause it forces your opponent to try and keep basics AND trainers from their hand. I use luxray mid game to take control of the board. It allows me to look into my opponents hand and take a basic from there and play it into their active position. Most people will limit their bench to 3 when they know that I am playing Dusknoir. Luxray forces their bench to 4, then I can scoop up their main attacker.

Cresselia lv x allows me to keep pace in the game taking 2-3 prizes in one turn. I did actually take 4 in one turn by moving a damage counter knocking out a benched riolu and killing an EX active.

So as you can see, even though its slow in the beginning, it has GREAT come from behind power.

Cyclone enrgy is SO GROSS here... T1 cyclone really swings the game into your favor. It forces their main starter to the bench and slows their setup.

There is so much you can do with this deck its impossible to list them all....

Have fun and thoughts are appreciated....

Thank you Zach Fisher for the initial concept....

Jimmy

this is a great idea

if you combine main cards from your two SDs you get my SD, if out of curiosity you want a list i'll send it, it t4'd at NH states, the only tourney it has eve been played in to the best of my knowledge

This seems like a nice concept...better than the other deck...but hey...Luxray is <3333

Wow.. I tried to build a deck with Luxray and Dusknoir but it never occured to me to combine it with Milotic d to actually see my opponent's hand. Props.

Is seems like it'd be vulnerable to a lengthy psychic lock, or a teched line of Dusknoir in your opponent's deck, but other than that it looks excellent. Sharing is so underrated in the current metagame. Knowing your opponent's hand from T2-on can be game-winning on its own. I'll definitely give this deck a try, it looks like a lot of fun.

OMG, this deck is really good. I'm undefeated with this deck. The only bad thing is feebas starts. I played a GG+Lucario deck and he had a Riolu start and I had a Feebas start. He started the game and luckily he flipped tails. After that, he had every droughts. I crushed him from there on.

Milotic d is underrated. I used it a Mags deck to nice effect for a while. This deck has a lot more synergy than most with it though.

Jimmy you need windstorm here, they looked me with a CB ugh, or maybe switching Pachirisu with Tauros would work

Yes I just see that when i draw Moonlight xD.. the only thing i dont like is the 30 min matchs..

Nice work! Love how you manage to find the underused cards that combo.

I'd switch Copycats to Team Galactic's Wagers though. Not for using it in a regular sense of distruption, but to force your opponent to refresh his hand when you know there's nothing for Milotic/Luxray. Your opponent can choose to draw 0 to avoid that, but... if your opponent doesn't draw anything, you should be in pretty good shape, no?

I dunno about this deck. No that I have tested it, it is pretty easy for anyone who is running Claydol (and who isnt?) to get rid of their basics. Of course when they dont see it coming its great, but when the surprise factor is lost, your opponent wont have a hard time not keeping a basic in hand. Wager sounds nice to force them to redraw though.

HOWEVER, if they just put down the Basics on to the Bench, Dusknoir can Dark Palm. And, if they put the Basics under their deck with Claydol, well, they'll be fighting with only 4 Pokemon, rather then 6.

Fighting with 4 Pokémon isnt really that hard. GG can have Claydol + 3 Ralts evolutions ideal but rather Claydol plus Furret or Pachi (whichever didnt get killed or got into play) and 2 Ralts evolutions. Minor inconvenience since you cant OHKO them.

Fire TRUK needs all the Bench space they can get. They need Delcatty, Typhlosion, Magmortar... it hurts them. And also it means you'll win faster.
