wow, I downloaded these podcasts the first time on 26, and I've loved both of them...they are great, this one especially gives great insight on areas not near you

It was fun giving some observations from this part of the country and hearing about MD in the rest of the US too. Thanks for including me!

thanks for having me. it was fun. and i will be seeing everyone at nationals and worlds.

I always love doing this. Too bad about what happened in the middle there...

Yeh, that was a great podcast. A few things I disagree with mainly all the focus on Eeveelutions? I mean, I never really thought they were that good, Empoleon seems to be the big threat?

The eeveelutions were the big hype with this set though. I know people who just collect merchandise that were jumping at the eeveelutions. Seen a lot of decks that have incorporated them too. I know every area is going to be different though.

Magic_Umbreon - I think that you are right and that Empoleon seems to have proven itself to be a big threat but I think a lot of players are using the BRs to test out Eeveelution ideas. At least that is what I have seen and that is what we were trying to discuss on the podcast. And I think there is excitement about the Eevee cards even if it is mainly collectors and future possibilities. Thanks for listening to what we had to say!

The other deal, as someone pointed out to me, is that the Eevee deck with 4 LvX, and maybe TSD, is a $200 deck to make it competitive. Like last year's Eeveelutions, I don't expect to see much of it in the environment in part for that reason.

Aaaah. You must be the one who I couldn't understand.

Very interesting 'cast, all. Gave me a few ideas for Nationals tomorrow.

I'm sorry never heard that form ayone before "too loud" Doesn't know when to shut up" but never couldn't understand:wink:

I finally listened to the whole podcast and loved it. Excellent cast and nice discussion about what's being played in the BR's at different areas. Although, I wonder why no one mentions any rogue or unusual decks that played well in BR's? I mean, Eeveelutions, Garchomp X, and Empoleon becoming popular was kind of predicable, but what else has show potential at BR's? <-There's another idea for a future podcast for ya.
~Cyber~

At the time this was recorded, there had only been 2 weekends of BRs available for data. Most of the cast had only been to 1-2 BRs, and I believe that there was only one Player on the podcast. The others were either Parents or Organizers/Judges.

Yep. I've been trying to finish up one on Team Play for a couple weeks. I should have it up in a couple days.
