Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

STORMFRONT - 5 Oregon Locations (Details Added)

...and he has a full size living breathing Skuntank that lives in there!!!

Oh wait, that's just Ben

-Cory

Doesn't Chris have two big dogs to chase that Skuntank away, or do they only help to gaurd his pokemon museum?

Ouch! Someone get a judge over there to make sure Ben's flipping a coin between each turn for that BURN!

Took the words right outta my mouth.

If Chris' collection keeps up, he may have to lease a building, move his museum there, open it to the public and possible charge admission. Hey, that'd be a great way to get more people into pokemon.

No worries I have Ben's back. I gave him some 'loaded" dice so he is always flipping heads :thumb:

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

I wanna see... I wanna see!!!

One of these days.... when things settle down maybe just maybe we can have some kind of open house or something so Chris can show off his collection. I like the person that said they would pay $10.00 to see it hmmmmm... (lightbulb goes off!!!)

My spoink tail fails so hard... :(

I got my hair cut also, no more emo hair ;(

Yes. As a highly trained mathematician, I can verify that 10,000 is more than 9000 (providing both numbers are using the same base system. For example, in binary 10,000 is only 32.)
Yes, quite.

Well, as a highly experienced scientist, I can confirm that the bird is equal to or greater than the word.

Lily H. (go girl power) no bias here at all

Srs.
Blaze(Riley) W.

Masters
Jacob V.W. I believe his first)

Last but certainly not least our own lovable Mr. Raichu won the booster draft with Cory chasing him all the way
Thanks everyone hope to see some of you at Salem tomorrow.

OMG!! Mr. Raichu pulled A RAICHU LV.X when he played in the Booster Draft! Seriously, who did not see that coming?

A lucario costume won the costume contest today. Nice job Kylie!

Fixed for you. Also, lol at Mr. raichu's 6-6-1 T-Tar with T-Tar prized.

Salem, OR stormfront pre-release

The Salem tourney was lots of fun as usual, but perhaps a bit more so for a few reasons-- Washington players who made the journey south (Lisa, Larry & Kyle!!), the costume contest, and some new players to Pokemon. We had a nice turnout too, 50+ and about 20? stayed for the booster draft afterwards.

I took some photos. See them in the gallery here.

Winners:
Masters
1. Cory Cox
2. Keegan Cox
3. Janet B.

Seniors:
1. Dominick (sorry, wrong spelling I'm sure)

Juniors: 1. Gabe, 2. Branden as posted by chrisrocks. Thank you.

Costume contest winner was Kylie with her most excellent Lucario costume. I'm so impressed with that costume that Angela from PUI should be notified of her skills. I'm serious.
"Dawn" came in second and I paid the judge well and came in 3rd with my Turtwig costume. "Buck" didn't win as Mr. Raichu had played a supporter for the turn and Clint was out of luck. {inside joke, but honestly, we had great laughs at this event today}.

As for the DS tournament, ahem, ahem, yours truly won that:biggrin:--beating out Kayhon. It saddened me that I had to knock out his Gengar in the tourney but I wear my 'video game showdown' hat with pride with that victory.

Thanks to BDS, Chris and Momma_June, and John, for judging and running a fine tournament.

An extra thank you to John from Salem for sitting next to and helping our new players from Corvallis build their decks for this game.
