Ok chompy wins for sure.
I didn't notice ness being used during the last round, but I did for this one.
I'll let pythagoras 1995 decide who wins. If he wants to surrender, then he can. Other wise, he can have the win and go on to the finals

What??? :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
Could you please explain why you come up with such a decision?

@Afstandopleren

You broke this rule, and I quote
All characters are allowed HOWEVER (and this is where my tournamnet is different) you CANNOT use the same character 2 rounds in a row. That being said, when you report your matches, you must also report the character that you and your opponet used.

****EXAMPLE:

"I beat xxxxxxx
I used Metaknight, he used Ike"

then the OTHER person who played makes a similar post.

"I lost to dddddd
I used Ike, he used Metaknight"

During the next round xxxxxxx cannot use Metaknight.

In other words if in Round 1, I battle Chompy and I use Pit while he uses Diddy, and he wins, then obviously I am out of the tournamnet, and Chompy CANNOT use Diddy Kong during Round 2.

This is pure idiocy IMHO. With such poor judgments, I'm glad I'm out.

Good luck, Chompy with winning this tournament....not like you will usually need it though.. =P

Care to explain?

Did you not break the rules that I put in place in the beginning of the tournamnet?
Did I not put underneath the match-ups that you could not use said character?
You got away with breaking the rules the first time, cause I missed it. I did not miss it the second time.

Sour grapes?

For as far as I can tell, I haven't broken any rules. You might want to read every post again, I still don't see what I've done wrong.

However, due to you not noticing the goings on earlier, the course of this tournament has already changed.
If you responded earlier, things would have been different and that is why I don't think that pushing the mistake on me has helped much.

Those were the rules set out during the beginning of the game.

During Round 1, you were set to battle koolaidkidz
I played Koolkidkaz, though I don't know if it was due to the errors plaguing us or that he lost with Pikachu badly.
EDIT: He experienced serious lag on his side. If he can fix it, I will play him again to make it even.
You did not list what character you used

I asked for what character you used. You posted:
I used Ness and Ike in my match with koolkidkaz.
I then listed on the first post (now has been edited) but underneath your match for going against Charmander in Round 2 , it said you could not use Ike or Ness

I've played Charmander and won with 2-1
First game with Lucas, second game with Falco and third game with Ness indeed. Lost this one. Tripping sux.
For some odd reason, I failed to notice that you used ness again, and when I updated the match-ups, did not see it. Charmander Rox, ALSO did not report it, so it went unnoticed.

So when I updated the Match-up for Round 3, it read:
9. afstandopleren || 3995-7946-9774 ----------___________________
15. pythagoras 1995 || 0173-5296-6617-------
***pythagoras 1995 CANNOT use Sheik or Kirby
***afstandopleren CANNOT use Lucus, Falco, or Ness

You posted:
I won from Pythagoras.
First round: I used Ness and Pythagoras used Lucario
Second Round: I used Ike and Pythagoras used Pokemon Trainer.

The Ike was perfectly legal, because Ike was not used during round 2, but Ness was used Round 2. When I pointed this out in Post 150
You were not allowed to use Lucus, falco or ness

you responded with:
-_-'

I used Ness in the third round despite having already won the match vs Charmander Rox... Do we, Pythagoras and I, have to play again?

At this point I realized that you had used Ness for the third round in a row, and took action on this. The match between you and charmander was done, there was nothing that could have been done about that without going back a step, and that owuld cost time. So I gave Pathagoras the choice of the battle, since you broke the rules. Essentially I gave you a Game Loss. but some people don't want to keep playing in tournaments, so I gave the decision to your opponet.

However, due to you not noticing the goings on earlier, the course of this tournament has already changed.

If you want a really easy answer to why I did what I did, think of it as a judge at a Pokemon Tournament.

I am the Head Judge.
You are Player A
Pathagoryas, is Player B
Charmander Rox is Player X

Player A and Player X battle in the second Swiss Round. Player X rare candied into a Lv X. Player X never called it during the game, or even right after the game, heck he never even noticed it. Player A may not have even been cheating on purpose, it may have been accidental.

During the next round of Swiss, Player A battler Player B. The same Candy to Lv X mistake is made. This time however, a judge comes by to watch the match, and asks why Torterra Lv X is on top of Turtwig. Player A says rare candy, and says he did it last match too. By this time many turns have passed and the action is irreversible except by restarted the game, or going back a round. The judge cannot do either of these without effecting the rest of the tournament and is forced to give a game loss.

I don't think I can be any clearer then this. It's just a game, no prizes or anything. Mistakes happen. Learn from them and move on.

I find it hilarious that you go through such great lengths to explain you opinion.

As said, mistakes do happen, you learn from them and move on.

Yup and this is why I think from now on we should probably have a tournament organizer keep an eye on the player who breaks the rule. Just by watching their game and all the organizer has to do is kill himself 3 times and watch the game.

When do you want to play Pythagoras? I remember playing you in round 1 in the other tourny, this will be fun =)

GG's Pythagoras though the games were laggy.

Game 1: I used Yoshi and Pythagoras used Kirby
Game 2: I used Yoshi and Pythagoras used Ike
Game 3: I used Yoshi and Pythagoras used Ike

Thanks for hosting this tourny! Cant wait for doubles to begin xD
