Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

2009 US Nationals

Flashback posts made when the location change was announced.
Who is right, who is wrong?
Today we will find out, have fun reading.

I was TOTALLY wrong, as was others.

I can't wait to see a 1.5k event next year.

i know wut my friend is playing, it's basically wut he has been playing since cities with a few tweaks here and there.

I'm TOTALLY going to win Nationals from the League Area! Beat that Martin! First time winner undefeated player while sitting 200 feet from the playing area! WOOT!

j/k seriously, I'm not 7-0, nor 0-7, I'm not even playing. Thanks for the support, though.

(doesn't mean I've give you better prizes at the league area...)

Anyone knows anything about crazy sds ? Dont even need to call names, any information would be great (no i dont want to tell this to anyone, just something i can think about and finally start prep for worlds xD)

c'mon aylum, you better be in the top, not for u, not for me, but for the pride of the greater new england.

well, i am going to bed when i figure out how my friends do (or my paretns figure out i'm on there labtop...)

Matt, Paige and I were jumping up and down with the 7-0 thing. Now we're going to sit back down and, well, cry. Boo hoo...

By the way, my cousin had a wedding. Paige was doing the photography. That's where we've been. Wish we were there though!

I was in the process myself of writing (and actually finished, grrr) a fairly long message about how everyone should be rooting for Prime (Matt) to win, because of the unmitigated support he's shown for this game for so darn long, in an area where the pokemon community is not all that large. There were a few choice words about his friendly disposition, humility, and creativity in there too. I was going to say that he's a pokemon player's pokemon player, and a major behind-the-scenes reason why games like this can thrive.

Well, heck with it. I'm rooting for Prime anyway, because if he can win it without being in it, then gosh darnit, so can I.

/Matt Riddle, Jake Burt, Eric Nance, and Ben Thompson, your 2009 National Championship Master's T4.
//Actually rooting for Kevin Nance, who really is in the darn thing.
///I SO would beat Erik Nance in the finals.
////Trophy please.
