(Un)Official Worlds Top Cut Thread

The title of the thread is "(Un)Official Worlds Top Cut Thread".
So the thread is about the Top cut at Worlds. Not worlds in gengeral.
Go talk about hacked pokemon in the Electronic Games section of the forum. Infact here is the link.

Since Stephen wont need to worry about being power locked I would think he would set up millions times faster then the flygon. Hitting him hard from t2 atleast. Bees can one hit a flygon saying all goes well and all 4 bees are out. Flygon needs a full bench of evolved pokemon one being a weavile and a special dark on Flygon in order to one hit a fresh Bee.

Another factor I would put in is how fast can Sami get out the Flygon Lv. X and get some lucky discards.

dude chill theres a top 4 for VGC worlds so.. its the same thing.

Actually, Flygon just needs a full bench of evolutions to OHKO a fresh Beedrill (60 + 50= 110), although it is a bit easier to get that OHKO with Weavile because the Special Dark(s) can compensate for any missing evolutions.

Flygon winning over Beedrill would be a huge upset, considering that Beedrill is one of Flygon's worst match-ups. Even with Weavile, Upper, and Dusknoir, things would be rough.

Uhh, maybe 5 times out of 10 on a good day. Espically when Luxray hits the bench, brings up your dusknoir and then gets poketurned for a BTS'd bee line and a OHKO.

I played around with a 1-1 Luxray myself in beedrill. It works as often as it doesn't. I perfer Blower, against everything but Gengar.

Check again also, there happened to be a top cut for the VGC. Not to mention this thread has undergone at least a few name changes so far. :nonono:

And it by and far wasn't my intent to talk about hacked Pokemon, I was originally making a response to a user's post. But now that you're so dead set against talking about the VGC, I think I will start chatting about it for the heck of it.

So, how about the VGC? 2 US players at least got top 4 this year, which imo is an improvement over last. Still, Japan's been dominating it, 2 in the top cut again this year. We'll see a US champ eventually though I think, and next year's format is rumored to include ubers as well, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

And goooo Silvestro for the TCG!

I agree flygon has a hard match-up against beedrill.. but Sami is a good player so is Steven so im sure he could outplay beedrill.. but I still believe Steven got this =D

Forgot to put the or in there about the dark. Cant wait for bees to win.

Unless Sami can keep evolutions on his bench his damage will fizzle. Also Sam can possibly get a few Sand Walls in because Bees realy need the BTS to blow through people and have the uber recovery.
 
If the first game is still going on, and Sami's down by 4 Prizes, he obviously is planning on decking steven out or he would have scooped along time ago.
