Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

When will a cities schedule be up?

When can we expect the first cities events to be posted on the OP website?

I would assume that before a Cities schedule goes up we will see the ratings invites schedule go up, however saying that, I would think that sometime before Nov. 13th. I would expect to see it a week earlier than that, but I don't expect the first Cities to be until atleast the weekend of the 21st/22nd.

The last weekend of Prereleases is Halloween. I wouldn't expect to see anything before then (though it would be EXCEPTIONALLY nice)

Based on the previous years; last weekend in November through to the first weekend in January.

Let's get the Arceus pre releases done first.:thumb:

ya, and hopefully the site will get back to normal and we can see our ______ rankings....=/ as well as being able to prepare for cities which are about a month and some change away let alone travel plans for Nationals/PokeyPalooza... i as well as a lot of people on here are probably getting annoyed . The details are already up for Worlds, why can't they do Nats already....

For something semi-official, try using the Tournament Locator at the OP website. Search for "City" in the United States. There are over a hundred already sanctioned.

I am hoping that the NJ/NY/PA schedule gets better based on when the dates are supposely. It looks like we have 4 or 5 dates that have no events and a few that have a lot of events. The first weekend having zero, hopefully that will change. If it doesn't I am going to seriously consider heading down to participate in the GA marathon. :thumb:

There are currently ~193 Cities sanctioned on the OP website. Just search for "City" on the Tournament Locator. Most areas are up right now. Georgia Marathon hasn't been put in, neither has the St. Louis area. I'd guess there are about 210-220 or more Cities this year. Not sure about last year...

I hope all this wait is simply because they're going to make one giga-announcement of rankings/invites/cities/nats instead of just being behind on schedule

I am very angry at how few CCs can be gone to in NY/NJ/PA/DE region. No CCs on the first weekend is what makes me the most angry though. I mean this was terrible planning. Burlington and Cedar GRove are on the same date, denville and newerk DE are on the same date, blue bell PA and West Berlin NJ are on the same date, lock haven and watervilet, Brooklyn and holmes. NorthField NJ and York PA. That is like 6 CCs that cannot be played in.

Some things are out of the PTOs' hands. If you notice on the OP website, there are very few CCs on the 1st weekend. There is a reason for this. Dont gripe at the TOs in your area...they are doing the best they can with the schedule we have. You do realize that 3 of the weekends are holiday wkends! Thanksgiving for the 1st, Xmas is on a Friday along woth New Years. PTOs have families too and commitments to them for the holidays!

No one ever promised you the right to go to 6-10 CCs. Be happy for what you get bc trust me, you can always find an area that is lacking worse than you! Imagine living in NoCal and having to drive 100s of miles to any CC??

ya ur right i sounded like a jerk, but still i don't see why there has to be for most of the saturdays 2 when they can split it up into saturday and sunday. I can understand the ones that are on holidays but I mean every weekend it shouldn't have to be like that. However maybe it can still change.

^Thx for understanding. Sundays arent always the best either bc the regis starts later (church, etc) and then the tourney ends later. School on monday. Parents upset bc the tourney isnt over until 10, 11 pm and now they have to drive home. (Can happen with a MA division with 5-6 rds, then top 8 cut). An hour per rd (approx) when you factor in pairings, set up, getting results in, etc. Then a break for food at some point. Hour long rds in top cut = 10 hrs or so for a tourney that prob didnt start until 1 or 130 pm. See the problem if it isnt during the holiday break. That is why the GA marathon works so well, no school the next day!
