Ya i agree whoever got the paper should come out and tell us what it does, as for the update no kill last night that's awesome for the town.
 
Yes, that is interesting about Togepi Pikamaster. Could that be the X that appeared in the sky? Hmmm I still hav't fully reasearched the update. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. oh and the third the fact that the paper owner should come out, it could really help us! :)
 
The X could of been a Pokemon's move, either a Lock Out, Seal, or soemthing of that type, meaining a Roleblocker.

I feel like a lot of people are asking about that piece of paper, and I think we need to give serious thought into what would happen if someone came out and said what it was. The mindset of the town has been to jump to lynching the first person who does anything out of the ordinary. I don’t feel like we’re forgiving enough of players putting forth info. If someone claimed something about the paper, I feel like the town would over-react. There would immediately be “he’s a liar” posts and “thats suspicious, lets lynch him” posts. It doesn’t foster forthrightness.

To be honest, I didn’t even send a PM to Absol about the paper when I saw the update (before he posted that someone had taken it). I felt like: 1- someone had probably already taken it, 2- I didn’t need another thing messing with my already tumultuous game. I feel like there’s probably game changing effects on whoever takes the paper, and it a risky move. It’s the kind of thing vanilla players should be all over.

Also remember that there are 2 papers in play at this point, as I doubt FJM had it when he was lynched. In general, I hope that if you are a townie, and it seems like you are going to be lynched, that you tell everyone what the paper did, before you die.

Also consider, the wolves might not know anything about the paper either. So explaining it all might not be beneficial. I guess it depends on the nature of what is on the paper. Maybe some smart players got a hold of these papers and are withholding the info from the wolves.

I’m a little annoyed that we don’t have more evidence towards any wolves. I think the update did more to help find townies than it did to direct us towards wolves. I think that might be because of the no lynch.

I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page as I am in thinking that if there’s one person we shouldn’t vote out its DP. He’s going to have so much talking to do when he is back in the game, that it rules out voting him. Also, maybe a priest should protect him. On that note, it would be cool if I got another priesting. Thanks for that btw. I think that whoever saved the fossil excavator did an amazing job last night. That was probably the best play of the night.

Just some stuff to consider.
 
As it stands there's not enough information present to guess on a anyone's role besides Diaz. Best thing to do imo is to wait until just before the deadline and make a guess.
 
Diaz why would we want you to get preisted? If you really are a pesist, and everythings gone as people are guessing, it means there's at least 3 preists. Why would we want 1 useful preisting instead if 3? Sure, the third preisy must be very good at protecting, but still, why not increase our chances?

Ideally, we would have 3 priests working, yes. But, ideally, I wouldn’t have giant target on my back. It seems more likely for the wolves to target me, than most other players in the game. Having a priest target me doesn’t make it not a “useful” target. In fact, you could argue that its more useful because it has a higher chance of making an impact. So having a priest target me brings us down to 2 priests in effect, but one of them is more effective than usual.

It’s a giant guessing game. The other priests may or may not choose to protect me. And the wolves may or may not choose to try to kill me. What we really don’t want is for both of them to protect me. So I want to make sure that the 3rd priest doesn’t protect me. The other priest (the one who protected me last night) now has an interesting choice. Does he risk losing the priest, and having 3 priests in effect. Or does he protect the priest, and only have 2 priests in effect. It comes down to what he guesses the wolves will do.

Unrelatedly, I doubt the x in the sky is *that important right now. If we see it again tomorrow night, then we have something to work with.
 
If we see a "V" or "XIII: etc., then we will know for sure tomorrow. I hope I am onto something though. I guess we will just have to wait and see:p

Let's keep in mind that the role may be changed, though. Absoltrainer doing things like making Sabrina the Priest make that clear. My personal suspicion is that Togepi is back... with a sinister twist. I don't have any evidence to back this up, rather, this is my gut feeling. I could be wrong. IDK.
 
Re-read the update, something that I noticed.

The man with the knife could be the vigilante, in Absol's last game the Vigilante had a 20%(?) chance of not killing his target if it wasn't a wolf.
 
On the whole thing about protecting Diaz. I understand that it would hurt to lose Diaz if he was the preist, but look at it like this, if he is the preist we waste 1 of our 3 preistings on him, his gets stoped beacuse he is protected by the preist and now we only have 1 working preist. It would hurt if we lost him but then we would still have 2 working preists compared to just 1 beacuse we kept the dead weight of Diaz protected.

Exactly! Which is why I don't think having our preist protect Diaz is a useful action. We might as well use all 3 of our preists powers and hope tht Diaz isn't killed. Just my honest opinion. Also, while the X is curious, it isn't necesarilly important. I feel theres not enough info and not enough people posting. We are just analyzing evidence and playing a huge guessing game. With this many players and it being Day 2, it might not be a big deal, I just wish we could start getting more info on who the possible wolves could be as soon as possible.
 
But if the Wolves go after him and he's protected, we save all three for the night. It just boils down to what the Wolves will do, and there's not many targets that they might go after.

^SO you would rather have 1 preist protection rather than at least 3 tonight and still probably 2 for a while if the wolfs go after Diaz?
