They would hate to give you a reason to not complain, lol :p

I hope they keep Nats somewhat centrally located. All this talk about East Coast being "where the players are at" is really, in all actuality, ridiculous. Texas and Oregon put up the biggest numbers out of anywhere, and neither of those are even CLOSE to the East Coast.
 
Me Personally Nationalas Being Held In Columbus Ohio Would Be Great, Not Saying That Just Because I Live Here But There Are Plenty Of Hotels And Restaraunts Around In The Area Where No One Would Be Cramped Or Even Waiting In Line For Long. The Decision Of Nats Is Completely Up To Pui But Imo Columbus Is A Really Well Located Place And Its Not To Far East Coast Nor Is It Far From Most Of The West, I Mean Granted Its Still Far But Centrally Located In Ohio With Plenty To Do While Here Is Pretty Swell In My Opinion
 
Again! I vote for Memphis TN! Central location!(with TWO major Interstates running through it)
Airport has hub status so cheaper tickets, And a lot of Tourist Activities. Its Also Close enough for Gathering Ground To Come down if they wish, Low Priced Venues and And Great Hotels.

And did i mention the BBQ!:thumb:

actually in allen texas theres a huge event center not as big as the st louis one but still there lots of hotel maybe like walk 101 next to a highway but still its good enough
 
This thread is kinda pointless. Everyone is gonna want Nationals to be somewhere near they live and then PUI will just put it in St. Louis again.
 
I think either Chicago or Dallas is a good choice. Lots of restaurants, hotels and large facilities where an event can be held.

Memphis airport has cheaper tickets? This is news to me.
 
i would like it to be in origins again.
st.louis was way to hot and the convention staff drove me crazy. not to mention all the poke players were "fire hazards"
 
At this point, I just want to know where it's going to be. I don't even care anymore. Alaska, Florida, North Dakota, Maine, whatever. Info would be nice, as there are a few conventions I really want to go to over the summer and I need to start planning my travel time.

Kinda like what people were saying 2 years ago before they moved it from Origins.

I just wish the East Coast would get some love now and again...
 
Does anyone have any idea when we will get information on Nationals because I might need to make plans for summer soon.
 
i actually don't think they'll have it in st. luis again because of all the problems they had with the fire marshal there. they would need to book a much bigger place this time.
 
They could've had a much bigger space in St. Louis. They only used the smallest of the five halls in the America's Center. I remember the first thing I thought when I walked into that room: this isn't enough. It would've been enough if they had used either Hall 3 (about 1.5 times the space) or both Halls 1 and 2 (about 2x the space). BTW, Nationals this year took up about 50,000 square feet of space. I think that Nationals would need 100,000 square feet this year, as the 50k wasn't enough space to pacify the fire department, and I'm pretty certain that Nationals will grow by another 30% this year (1500 players, that's a BOAT). Not to mention the Casual Play area wasn't anywhere NEAR big enough for the amount of players that would populate the area between rounds.

I think if it was going to be in st louis again they already would have told us. And I cant picture PUI likeing the venue any more than we did just because of its lack of human needs.

Hey I enjoyed my time as a fire hazard!
Could do without Origins though.
