it was funny having the judges yell at us not to be in the play area and then the fire marshal yell at us to go to the play area ;D

First something serious so i dont get punished for spamming: people are complaing that its takeing so long to deside on a space, but my question is why, like what is the system that PUI goes threw in order to deside on a location? and how far along in that system are they?
im not rushing but if they were like we are in step 7 of 15 that would be nice

Hey I enjoyed my time as a fire hazard!

 quote from comedian Mitch Hedburg; "if you are flamable and have legs you are never blocking a fire exit"

July 3rd

St. Louis

going for the long shot on this one July 4th Toyko Japan

actually in allen texas theres a huge event center not as big as the st louis one but still there lots of hotel maybe like walk 101 next to a highway but still its good enough

I second Allen, Texas. In my opinion, Allen, Texas would be the greatest place to possibly hold a Pokemon Trading Card Game United States National Championship. Thus, it needs to be in Allen, Texas...

While, I can't be sure on when Nationals is, I would expect that the dates would be June 24th-June 27th or something cloes. I don't think it will be on 4th of July weekend. It is too much hassle and could cause some issue as far as players being able to attend. I think the last weekend of June is a more likely solution. I would like to know where it is before prices go up to a point where some people can't afford them. Right now prices are pretty cheap so that makes life a bit easier to buy them, but that won't be the case for too long.

lol @ the fire hazard comment. It really was not big enough imo, they expected us to not sit at the tables after the games, yet didn't want us in the middle row. Not really another place to go unless out into the main hall where oyu can't hear announcements and the like. I really felt as though they needed an area designated for players and family to wait for the next round...

Yeah, that was really irritating. Not allowed to stay at the tables, not allowed to stand outside of play area, not allowed in walkway. How are we supposed to hear anything from outside of the room? They could've split up divisions between rooms considering how much there was. Not to mention how much room VGC took up alone.

Not to mention how much room VGC took up alone.

WOAAAH SUPER GOOD POINT
I didn't think of that! VGC took up WAY too much space! If we have to be cramped so that our prizes are touching the deck of the player next to us, those tables should be together. There was like a 2 foot space between each of those little stand things.

OR, the reason it's taking so long is because they decided to move Nats again, and don't want to give out any details until things are finalized. Though this is getting a bit excessive...

I wish they would at least give us a hint or something weather or not we should expect it to be in St. Louis again (blech), or if they decided to be smart and move it to a new (better) location.

It is also very unwise to leave us players in the dark. If we go too much longer without any info, the cost of hotel rooms and plane tickets is going to be prohibitive. I am sure there are families trying to plan vacations around Nats, I'm trying to plan out what conventions I'm going to go to and how much time I need off of work. Even just a confirmed date would help.

Consider this...

2009 US Nationals - Midwest

2009 Worlds - West Coast

2010 US Nationals - TBD

2010 Worlds - Hawaii

What's missing?

EAST COAST.

PUI, this is real simple.

PUT US NATIONALS 2010 ON THE EAST COAST!

Making the East Coast go (at least) 2 years without a major event is nothing short of ridiculous.
