Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Virginia's 6 2009-2010 City Championship Events Photo Link at end of thread!

Hey did I get in before the w/l? Just wondering.

Tim you are doing an amazing job with this, keep it up. If you get all of the waitlist in I WILL play Exploud \o/

EDIT: nvm, just found out I got in :thumb:

Phhht. Brawler? He'd never [DEL]throw away his rating[/DEL] test his luck with Exploud. He's no lucksack, lol.

Rating? What rating? :p

Until he stops being silly and thinking that decks such as toxitank will win states, he will never have a rating. ;)

For Fairfax CC: waitlist spots 1-11 have been accepted into the event. An e-mail was sent to those who provided one.

While we cannot guarantee admission to everyone on the waitlist at this time, we plan to accomidate as many people as possible. Please do not be discouraged if you are on the waitlist.

Please! Exploud is a card of pure skill.
What should scare you is how well you knew it was played . So much knowledge devoted to just 1 deck that only 1 person in the area plays--you should play it :thumb:

Tim, Exploud was made to mock people like me, who can't flip to save their lives.

If I were to use Exploud, I would get heads every time I need tails, and I would get Tails every time I need heads.

I will neither confirm nor deny that one of the primary reasons I use Exploud is to mock you

DarthPika, did you ever play Pokemon Reversal and Energy Removal2 back when it they were popular around the time of Delta Species?

No, I did not. Besides not actually having the cards, I can't flip heads enough of the time for it to be worth it. lol

How's it looking for us getting in?

Everyone who preregistered by 2pm on Janaury 7th has been accepted into the event.

While the request for players to bring a chair is no longer as restricting as it was a few days ago, we do need 14 chairs to bring the event to full capacity.

How many chairs do you need, Tim? I'd probably be able to bring a couple.
Because we decided to go with sitting on the floor, we only need 14 to bring the event to full capacity. Therefore, people shouldn't need to bring more than 1 chair.

@Brawler: Better start practicing with Exploud

What? Unless trying to figure out what you want to flip with counts as "practicing", I don't really see what there is to practice. :p

Wow!!! A HUGE thanks to Timothy for pulling all this off with Hobby Works!! Hunker down for lots of rounds, masters--and the top 8 seems to be a given!!!!!

Drafts will of course be held during Master's top cut. The question is--do we draft in Fairfax, Stafford, or BOTH?? (Of course, it won't matter to any of YOU guys, since you'll top cut, right???)
