Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Virginia's 6 2009-2010 City Championship Events Photo Link at end of thread!

Never thought toxitank would win. I just play sometimes for fun. And apparently my rating is still fine...

See everyone this weekend.

Drafts will of course be held during Master's top cut. The question is--do we draft in Fairfax, Stafford, or BOTH?? (Of course, it won't matter to any of YOU guys, since you'll top cut, right???)

Don't joke, man! I've been dying to draft for ages but never can!

If Fairfax goes late, how about everyone coming down to my hotel in Stafford and we do a late-night draft in the Hampton Inn lobby???

that sounds awesome (i know weve never met but i hope im still invited :) ) i would come to that, what set though?

So i am very new to the whole city championship thing and my friends and i are going to the stafford one, what should expect, besides getting crushed? and also what time should i get there?

Everyone, please understand that the cut off time for the Fairfax preregistration is not going to be extended. It would have been extended by now if it was going to be.

You want to do another event following a 85-person event?
I don't know if I'll be able to wake up the next morning.

Yup, in Stafford, but Sat night...

Late Sat night..........
(but honestly, since MA top cuts will take 3 hours in Fairfax, we'll probably just do the draft at Hobby Works)
and to answer the earlier questions, the set would be Arceus of course... (Can't Pre-prerelease HGSS or I'd get in BIG trouble with my bosses!!!)

can you answer this please...

According to the front page, deck check starts at 9:30, so you want to get there around that time. A little on the early side never hurts ;) If this is your first event, remember to have your decklist filled out (I suggest you use Steven P's decklist creator, found right here at the 'Gym), and have your deck sorted in the order it appears on your list. Make sure your card sleeves are in good condition, too. Above all else, be prepared to have fun!

Fairfax has closed out in the 80's. Oh, lord, what HAVE I gotten myself into?? I expect some "trickle down" to Stafford as well on Sunday. Maybe hit 50 there???

Here We Go!!!!!

I'll be there tomorrow, bringing along two walk-ins. Looking at the preregistration site, it seemed to me that the way to get on the waitlist was to go through the motions of preregistration, but the button you have to click to prereg is grayed out. So I'll be bringing two walk-ins.

I'll also need a handful of cards that people borrowed from me at Warrenton.

Sorry, SW, but there will be no walk-ins. Zero, nada, rien. I have been saying this to parents who have emailed me since registration closed. The reason the button is grayed out is because there is no more prereg. If you are not on the list, I suggest Stafford. The Fairfax event is closed.
