Has anyone else realized how good Jumpluff could be? A potential donk, a 140 hit with expert belt, ohko one almost anything in the format if lots of pokemon. What do u guys think about it?

Well i think that it's worth a try. This is probably the only deck that should actually consider pokemon contest hall, drop it on turn 1 or 2 and let the field get loaded up. Get a jumpluff set up early and start killing off every thing. You could probably Palkia lvx to restructure the threats hiding on the bench and kill them off quick.

Pokemon contest hall... never thought of that in a jumpluff deck. If you're going to try it then good for you. It might be good but it gets distroyed by charizard decks. And with contest hall you're letting your opponent get set up faster to. Other then that I think it might be good. MIGHT.

for charizard all u have to do is get a metapod and NO WEAKNESS =D:biggrin:

I think you're a little slow in realizing Jumpluff...I've been hearing about it for months now.

Played against it yesterday at the prerelease and got myself handed as for how the deck runs in the real world, it pretty much does the same. 1 energy for 120 or 140 w/ belt is stupid, and what's worse is that it has free retreat. You can easily run bench filling techs or even focus purely on swarm. As for getting trumped by Zard, Jumpluff has Metapod to take away weakness. As long as you're playing smart, you should be able to plow through them.

The article was interesting. What do people think about pachirisu, pich, or no starter. I really don't think 90 for one is good enough to win games with jumpluffs health. Being able to be KO'd easily you need to be able to KO them back so i think pichu is the better starter.

Jumpluff is one of those decks I feel that could use any techs it wants, since Jumpluff is really fast.

1. Jumpluff/Cherrim AoA/Shaymin (Standard)
2. Jumpluff/Blissey PL/Shaymin/Cherrim (Defensive)
3. Jumpluff/Luxray GL/Shaymin (Control)
4. Jumpluff/Shaymin/Metagross SV (Hit Point Manipulation)

and many more...

lol Jumpluff.
I want to see this win somewhere.
Maybe I will make it for my girlfriend.

WHY on EARTH would you need hit point manipulation with *******' 140 damage with 1 energy? What on earth can get around that as fast as it'll be setting up? Play Crobat or something if you're that worried ._.

I mean jeez...its just that 140 for 1 is baffling...

What do you expect? She is a party animal!

Jumpluff is fast and can be deadly, but overall I don't think that it will do too well with its low HP and vulnerability to Trainer and Power locks.

What? I must be missing something. 10x the amount of pokemon in play? What's so great about that? it's fairly easy to avoid

^Not that easy. I mean they have a full bench so thats 60 damage for one already. Then you need one pokemon in play, then a claydol and uxie maybe and then somone on the bench so thats an aditional 40 so thats 100 for one. Maybe you can keep it down to 2 or three pokmon in play but thats hard still. Plus jumpuff can play crobats, plus powers, expert belt and bucks for some extra damage. Not to mention it's second attack reduces damage by 30 which also can put pokemon in the one hsot range for your next attack.

Pa;kia G would really kindof shut this deck down. Not entirely but with it's pokepower it will keep your bench small. Not to mention the power lock makeing your claydols useless and your zelfs and uxie's useless...
