We will be coming down on Friday and staying at the Primrose. As long as my wife doesn't mind (she's just coming for the trip, not the Pokemon), I'd like to get some testing done Friday night.
 
48 hours until the first big event of 2010! My goal is to see 125 players across the 3 age groups. It should be a great day for everyone. See you there.:thumb:

I would personally like this:

Top 16 masters
Top 8 seniors
top 8 juniors

I think if the numbers are enough for a big cut, let it happen. That is how Canada can snag a few ranking invites because I am sure any half-decent US state championship has a top 16 in masters w/ 6-8 rounds. Please keep this in mind.

Oh, and a bigger cut also lets more people play which makes more people happy:)
 
top 16 would be great! It gives me a slight chance of making the cut!
I think we need at least 64 Masters to accomplish that though...
 
As a judge at provincials I would like to suggest that people use the tournament decklist link to prepare their decklists! It Certainly makes our jobs much easier. :smile:

I've never played an Ontario Provincial Tournament before... I've judged only two I've attended.

Good luck to the fellow Fossils. One of us HAS to take a major tourney this year, with all of the success in BRs and Cities we've had. I personnally am sick of finishing in 5th place (read utter fail is forthcoming!).

@CP STAR. I'm busy making a completely incomprehensible deck list using magic marker and small print, just so it won't stand out.:smile: I'm also practicing having my prize cards just touching slightly. And have a list of irrelevant and time consuming questions prepared for the player meeting. Wow!! It's great to be playing rather than judging!!

64 should be doable. We missed top 32 cut in masters at nats last year by 2 people! (126 entrants) I would have gone to the street and signed a couple people up if i had known. I think we will be ok. I will bring my POP id booklets just incase!

Hello everyone.

I don’t jump in here often, but I feel that I really need to warn people that the actions that Kungfufita and Ugly Psyduck are advocating here are suspendable offenses. Were a PTO complicit in any of the actions these two describe I would not hesitate to fire them.

Do not do this. Do not encourage anyone else to do this. Do not get caught anywhere near this type of activity if you wish to remain a player in good standing.

I understand your concern, but these were jokes. Every tournament I've been to that has been run by either of them have been completely legitimate and run by the book.
 
I don't know Zach, I think there will be a couple of Staraptor decks waiting to take you down =P

If you can't beat them, join them. I have revealed too much. I guess I just told everyone my SD. How does the edit function work again???
