Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Ontario Canada Provincial Championships

Cool I was thinking about going on a road trip with some people at my league to either Ohio or Michigan.

Hi all!!
I heard from Carta's manager that Quebec Provincials will be at another place. It will still be in Montreal, but they had issues booking the room at Hotel Y. I'll keep you updated as soon as I have an update on this.

Be prepared!! Montreal's crew will be bigger than last year and yes, we are planning to come to Toronto! :thumb:

What happened to our discussion? lol. Who will win? What deck will take it all? Who is pumped? Get ready for some serious fun:p

Yes, I am back from Venezuela. Now if I can remember whether you draw 6 or 7 cards to start a game, maybe I'll stand a chance! Good thing I've got 2 weeks of R&R to get ready.

Thx for the vote of confidence Sean, but if I do well ... well I finish 5th -- That's my magic number.

It's going to be my first time attending, so I'm looking for any background info anyone wants to offer. How many Masters usually attend?

IDK, does anyone have the numbers from last year? I remember 6 rounds so there must have been over 32 players. I will try to gather this info:)

Thanks for the info everyone. We'll be drivng in from Kingston Friday night and staying at the hotel. My son is a Junior, it will be his first big tournament also. We've played at 2 Battle Roads, 3 Pre-releases and 1 Cities. Kingston has a pretty small league so the most we have ever played is 3 rounds. We're really lookin forward to it!

Tip: Bring snacks, drinks, things to occupy yourself (DS, iPod, etc.) because it can be a loooooooong day if you are not prepared:thumb:

Rounds are 40 minues long, with about 10-15 minutes between each round. So depending on how long your match lasts, you'll have anywhere from 10-50 minutes between each match.

I see. Not enough for board games but definitely enough for DS Pokemon battles.
