Werewolf XIV: Team Rocket's Trap - TOWN WINS

I'm interested in signing up, but I want to be clear on a few things before I put my name in and ruin the game for everyone. lol

This would be my first werewolf game. Is the game relatively straightforward? If I'm not allowed to talk to people in the game, what should I do/who should I contact when I'm unsure about something or have a question? I'm guessing I'd PM the mod of the game, Lucario EX in this case, but I'd like to be sure. Anything else I should know about other than what's covered in the original post?
 
Looks like this game will be missing lots of vets. I'm not a fan. We should come up with a system of grandfathering in strong vet players.

Contact the mod for sure on anything you are unsure of. Most of the rules are listed above.

Which is unfair to any player who is new and really wants to try their hand at the game.
 
I'm not saying that every player in the game should be a grandfathered in player, just some. It'd still leave some space open to new players. I think it'd make for a better play experience for all those involved. I also think a game with only new players would be cool, and maybe a game with only new players. There's probably a better system for this than just whoever happens to be online at the right time.

Firstly, no, that's stupid. Sorry. Signs up need to be completely fair game. But that brings me to my main point.

I mean no offense to anyone....but there should have been no pre-signups. That's why it filled up so fast. If I had known we could've pre-signed up I would've done it too. I didn't say anything because I didn't think Lucario EX would do it. Thing is, by the time the thread was up at like 2 AM in my timezone, at least a quarter was already filled. I once asked Cardz to pre-sign me up because I was going to be gone when the game went up. He said no, and he told me when exactly he was going to put it up and I worked something out so I could sign up in time.

I'm not saying screw the people who would've lost power. Obviously not. But I wouldn't have done pre-signups. All we had to do was postpone it a little bit until the storm had passed. What about the people who have been out all day today, and won't be able to access the internet until they get home tonight? It doesn't work when the people waiting for the new thread and aren't even checking the old thread don't even have a fair shot at signing up. Heck, I might not have made it in time.

JMO guys, nothing we can do about it, I just had to rant.

While signups are filled now, anyone else who wants to play should still post. I'll see about adding some extra roles.

I'll address AK's point about pre-signups later. For now, I'll just say that I don't like it either.
