Title.

I thought it was "Jack fell down and broke his crayon" until 8th grade. Whoops.

I'll edit this later.

...that the line 'a dragon lives forever, but not so little boys' in the song puff the magic dragon meant that little jackie paper died...:(

'mom

The song from Flashdance has a line that says "Take your PASSION and make it happen." I always heard "Take your PANTS OFF and make it happen", which led to some uncomfortable questions. :)

I thought that the static at the end of a VHS Cassette (remember those?) was the scariest thing in the world and that something really bad would happen if I watched it. (This was before The Ring)

When I heard the old Mary Wells song "You Beat Me to the Punch", I thought the title lyric either meant:
(a) She intended to hit the guy, but he punched her first.
Or,
(b) She raced to the punchbowl, but the guy got there and drank it first.

I used to think that the computer characters you play against on video games were actually real people. You'd start on easy, and get promoted to medium and then hard as you got better at the game, before getting fired when you got too good.

After watching the second Harry Potter movie I thought a giant snake would come out of the toilet and bite my rear-end while I was taking a dump...scared me so much I rarely used the bathroom

BTW dragonclyne, snakes are known to go into the sewers, recently in england a 12 foot snake was known to visit peoples toilets, not even kidding, hope this helps :)

After reading the 2nd book. I thought a giant snake, was swimming around giant pipes inside the wall, I was so scared I couldn't sleep at night. o_O

That dog from The Sandlot was going to eat me alive. Couldn't sleep for weeks after watching that flick...
