Thanks for all the support, guys! This is way better than I ever expected for my first World Championships, and I'm hoping to have a great run!
The players in my games all showed a lot of class, everyone was respectful and friendly and I really had a great time! The final game against Sami was great (I think our lists are only 3ish cards apart)--props to him for having such an amazingly consistent run at Worlds each year!
@ajhawk I mained Reshiphlosion up until around 2-3 weeks ago when I decided that it'd be a good idea to learn two decks. I liked Reshiram (still think it's a great play), but it's a pretty linear strategy and didn't think it gave me enough options to outplay people. I logged a ton of games with both and ended up liking MegaZone better, and eventually decided it'd be my deck to play for Worlds. I tested a LOT in the two days before (around 10-20 games a day), and I had a deck crisis around 11 at night last night when I lost around 5-6 games to various Reshiram players, and was really close to changing decks last minute (just ask Eli Moses lol). In the end decided I'd take what was freshest in my head, and I couldn't be happier with how things ended up.
Trying my best tomorrow!

Hopefully Jacob wins worlds again. First back to back win ever...

I noticed that too. I'm assuming he had abysmal luck, but I haven't heard anything yet.Wow... of the four players that I know personally that played today, not a single one made tops... XD
Anyone know what happened to Karl K from the US? Going from doing so well in Nats to going 0-4+ is kind of.... wow. XD Just bad luck?
Man, its Day 2 already. Time goes by so fast!
Anyways, I'm really rooting for Yuka Furusawa to win. I mean, she's a pretty good player, and I think she can do pretty well once again. It would also be great for her to win in order to give more girl power for the TCG.:thumb:
Also, I'm hoping JWittz will win masters. He did a really good job in swiss. Its too bad he's going to go against good players. He'll be going against Miska Saari, and if Josh wins in top 16, there's a possibility he may go against Jay Hornung, so that's going to hurt; but, imagine what would happen if he won worlds. His worlds report episode for Profit will likely get a tremendous amount of views.
Well, whatever it is, the top 16 cut for each division is quite interesting.
I personally did not think josh would advance to top cut! congrats to him. profit is wonderful.
The first female world champion was i believe, Mindy Lambkee? Sorry, if i misspelled her last name. Correct me if i'm wrong.
